The Beacon Hotel in North Tyneside

Went for food but was disappointed. I had to change my order 3 times as they had ran out of most things. When the food arrived it was cold shame because it looked alright

Nice atmosphere and good food. Took really good care of neighbouring table with children's food allergies. Charming, helpful staff.

ABSOLUTELY beautiful meal tonight at the Beacon, great menu at excellent prices. Lovely atmosphere, great friendly staff and excellent service. Can very highly recommend. Thank you Beacon for a lovely night.

Lovely warm and friendly pub, we enjoyed a piping hot meal on a damp cold evening. Two of us had posh fish & chips which were very tasty, the other choose from the Vegan menu and was very happy with his choice. Starters and side orders were lovely as well. Staff very friendly, service excellent.Thank you for a very pleasant evening.

Very nice pub, great selection of beers, nice menu (pub grub) which is a good quality, and an excellent atmosphere.The open log fire gives its a nice cosy feel.We had the fish and chips, the pie and mash, the steak sandwich, and the Nacho's.All a very good standard.

Nice warm friendly pub where we have happily eaten before but last 2 visits have resulted in cold food being returned. Not sure how chips cannot be hot but they were luke warm and the Ale pie was just above chilled. Very disappointed indeed and will unfortunately take our custom to another establishment.

Lovely pub but Sunday lunch not so good. Vegetables not fresh, I think they were frozen or from a tin, roast potatoes hard, the meat was good and value very good, starter and main meal just over £10. On the hole not the worst I've had but have had better, like I said I love the pub itself.

Just had a great Sunday lunch 2 courses for under a tenner. I had prawn cocktail to start then half a chicken with vegetables really nice. the wife had soup carrot and coriander then pork with vegetables my youngest had callamari then a ultimate burger everyone says they enjoyed their meals.
