Been to tonight me and the hubby had ribeye steak with peas chips and fried onions, was really good steak was really tender, and all for £8.50 each what more do u want and lovely staff to 😊

Went at Dinner time on a Saturday night without a reservation. On entry seen the place was extremely busy so didn't hold up much hope to be seated if at all.Caught a waitress attention and asked if we could have a table for 3. This was not an issue for her. Hold On she said. Off she went on her hunt for a table. Most had reserved for 6.30 pm so didn't have enough time. Then she said follow me. A table was found. Great table and no reserve on it too. I've used the App a few times now so ordering was quick and easy. Drinks came out quickly then our order. Steak came sizzling on the griddle pan. Was just how I like it. Desert was a generous portion so I left a bit. Can't fault a wonderful experience. Great customer service from start to finish. Would highly recommend but please book as you might not get a table.

Had a lovely meal at foxhunters even though it was busy didn't wait too long and the staff even though were running around like headless chickens, when needing something nothing was a bother cory was polite and attentive when asking if we needed anything else and was great with the little ones.

Just had a Sunday lunch with my daughter, she had a southern fried burger. Both meals were fresh and absolutely beautiful. Would definitely come back, especially as it is dog friendly and we never leave our poocha out. Our server was called Cory, he was very efficient and polite and cuddled our dog too. At the bar Benji served us and was quick and also very polite. Would definitely recommend. Thank you to Cory for making the experience comfortable and welcoming.

Lovely friendly staff, nice Xmas atmosphere.. The food was yummy.. I just had chips with hot, hot chilli con carni but ask for chilli to be put on the side as it is very hot! It was lovely with lumps of steak 😋 my hubby had one of the challenges he said it was lovely too 😊

Visited for tea on a Monday. I had booked online but there was no need as it there was plenty of space. Lots of choice on the menu & lots of different deals. We ordered a mixed grill, surf turf & cluck and a cheeseburger. They were all delicious & the food came quickly. I hadn't checked the deals so I was unaware that the steaks were on £5 that day so it was so much cheaper than I expected. I was also able to use AA discount of 20% off so that was an added bonus. We also had desserts & the apple pie sundae was outstanding 👌.The staff were all very friendly too.The only slight issue was a bit of noise from the bar area which spilled over into the restaurant when some of North Shields finest decided to start shouting and swearing. A staff member sorted them out & had them apologising to everyone within minutes. I will definitely return but I will probably only eat early on in the evening before the bar gets full.

I really liked it. We were really loud as we had two 1 year olds, one 5 year old , one 9 year old and one 11 year old (me) I really enjoyed my food and the customer service. Very clean too

This was my first visit to this pub in a long time and I’ve got to say, it did not disappoint, I got the double dipped rib eye steak and what a feast it was! My partner got the chick ‘n’ mix and also thoroughly enjoyed it. The food portions were very generous, the quality of the food was amazing and the serving staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be returning soon!
