Very nice pub with great atmosphere and very friendly staff. Didn't order food but people around us who ordered the food smelt really nice and looked very tasty. Great place and will definitely go back

I was confused as to why they put raspberry sauce they give you on ice cream vans on a cheesecake? Ive never been to any restaurant where they've used ice cream sauce on cake, it's quite a strrange choice and doesn't go with the flavour of the cake at all. it was drizzled all over, i spent ages scraping it off as i really don't like it.Not only does the sauce not belong on cake, but it didnt say on the menu that it came with sauce and the waitress didnt ask me if i wanted it or not. Really ruined the dessert it would have been 5 stars if not for that because the green curry was lovely, perfect spice level and good quality chicken.

Absolutely love this place. All the staff are really friendly. Love the fact it is child and dog friendly. The food is just spot on and very well priced. I have only been a few times now but plan on returning soon. Great for the kids all weather as there is a small play area inside and a lovely play area outside. The atmosphere is so chilled. Highly recommend

It's been a number of years since I've visited this pub, so it was time to revisit for some food and drink. As someone who has a hospitality background I probably have more insights than most.Service: COVID-19 secure. Friendly and helpful staff who were attentive and professional.Food: Freshly cooked, arrived hot in good time, and was of a good standard.Décor: Traditional pub with restaurant, clean and well maintained. Children's play area with various toys.Summary: Good all round, and perfect for quick bites, meeting with friends or solo drinking!

Chicken Swiss came out and was very quickly sent back.Chicken had a very odd taste to it despite assurances it was fresh. The chicken was served in a very odd looking mushroom coloured sauce with a very orange cheddar melted in it.That dish should NOT be on your menu.If you're going to give your chef free artistic rein, then either make sure you know what's being sent out of the kitchen, or check their ID when you hire them to make sure you haven't just hired Derek aged 9The upside to the visit was that in record time I was served another dish (mince and dumplings) that would've been hard to get wrong.

Great food again the staff are really friendly the manageress / owner is so welcoming to all her visitors never had a bad experience

Excellent, great beer (i had deuchars) food was very good and very reasonably priced (I went for the mince and dumpling one of the best I've had in quite a while) Staff were all friendly polite and helpful. We did have a bit of a wait for food, but did expect this as it was a rather busy lunchtime! Recommend a look if your nearby there menu is available on there website along with other information, and is the best dog friendly pub I've seen in a while too. Overall I will hopefully get another chance to visit soon and sample some more beer and great food. Thank you keel row

A really clean and friendly pub restaurant. When we visited, it was incredibly busy but the staff found us a table. There was a long wait for the food but it was well worth the wait. It was excellent!!! The lady in charge was so attentive to her customers but also a tremendous manager to her staff. We will definitely be coming back.
