No scrimping on my sandwich filling, loved the price too. I had no problem with the place or the staff, good service. They've got a new regular customer now.

Once the Jolly Sailor Pub owned by George+Kit Heslop. We were brought up here late 60s-70s so holds a great deal of memories. Old band Lindesfarne were regulars then. ITV's newsmen Mike Neville and George House came to one of their parties. If those in here now look after their customers as well as they were looked after then they're doing a great job!

Turned up for a Sunday lunch as I was working in the area and it was the only place obviously open on a Sunday.Absolutely blown away by the service. Friendly staff, good coffee, amazing sized portions coupled with extremely cheap prices - and there's both WiFi and a handful of arcade machines in the place!Absolutely Brilliant =)
