Good live music. Staff could do with some awareness training to identify who should be served next at the bar. People were walking away from the bar after waiting to be served for 15 minutes!!! Majority of the bar staff seem to be young and inexperienced. However, it's a good bar with a good atmosphere, if you can get a drink. 🤨

The drinks we're fine but pricey. Our soups were very average and quite pricey. I would only go back if I were desperate for a beer.

RANCID FOOD - SOUP WAS LITERALLY BLENDED LEFTOVER VEG FROM THE SUNDAY LUNCH BUT IT WASNT EVEN BLENDED ENOUGH IT WAS SO LUMPY. Literally don’t know how they could call it soup🤢 the meat free roast was vile - one burnt and chewy Yorkshire pudding, one spoon of instant mash, 2 roast potatoes, parsnips, carrots, and not even enough gravy to cover up the disgusting taste. Honestly felt sick after eating here

This pub was empty when we were passing so we called in for a coffee, which was very nice, hot and accompanied by a biscuit. My wife's latte and my Americano together came in at the same price as you would normally pay for a latte elsewhere so represented good value for money. Although we didn't sample the food we did check out the menu, which seemed typical of what you would expect in this type of establishment. However, what struck me was the food prices, which were very good. We will probably go back for food next time we are in the area because the place was clean, the staff were very pleasant and although it's difficult to judge when the staff aren't operating under pressure it did appear to me that they would undoubtedly be confident in performing the roles required of each of them and no doubt be able to deliver a worthwhile experience to the customer. If anyone is interested they were advertising for an assistant manager when we were there.

Nice bar but very long wait for food, and when it finally came Panini came it wasn't even toasted and had no flavour.

Although visited previously and food was good etc.. this visit was so disappointing. Ordered 2 gin n tonics. Pub was very quite at the time. One had what looked like curdled cream floating in it. We returned it to be told the optic measured had not been cleaned so it was baileys in it. The other glass had a huge crack and chip in it and thankfully i noticed before putting my mouth to the glass. Also my full bottle of tonic was poured Into my single gin by bar staff without asking me if I wanted it done so.

Lovely bar, dog friendly. Great location

Used to be you could get a comfortable seat & a pint. Now you go in greasy cafe stinks of chips cooked in old oil. Had to march out before even getting to the bar. Tommy tourist coming out in the day for deep fried frozen food you're welcome to it. Disgusting.

Staff Lovely. Food was at a poor standard onion rings hardly had any onion in, salad was scarfs, the peppercorn sauce as lumpy it must been left in back for ages and the steak wasn't cooked properly at all. The pub says its all fresh and the peas you could tell were frozen peas. Absolutely gutted as we hardly get out.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Beautiful view of the long sands and sea from our window. We had the fish cakes and lamb tagine for our evening meal and enjoyed them both.Would definitely recommend for a relaxing stay.
