Had a reheated curry, naan drowning in oil, oily popadoms and bland unseasoned rice. My company had the brunch dry chips, unexciting sausages and over cooked eggs. Service at the bar was slow but lovely staff and excellent customer service but it's weatherspoons and I've already shown more admiration to the staff then their employer ever will. Basic, boring, bland. Cheap.

We both visited this rather busy wetherspoons whilst in the area it has quite an extensive beer garden, nicely decorated and the toilets are all on the ground floor, which is always a plus.

My first visit, definitely recommend and will go back, food was relly good, excellent prices on drinks, staff lovely and helpful. 10 out of 10 from me!

Have attended twice on a Monday to do the pub quiz- first time it wasn't on, second time a female staff member walked around with a clipboard avoiding eye contact with everyone so we assumed this wasn't quiz related as she didn't speak to anyone. There was at least us and one other team waiting to do the quiz. Half an hour after the start time one of us asked when the quiz would be starting, the same staff member said that it wasn't as she had no teams turn up... We'd been there since an hour beforehand. Annoying experience

Tables were uncleared, had to clear our own and move tables together for our party size, had to ask for the table to be wiped down as sticky with sauces, staff member did so with a cloth from their pocket (no anti bacterial spray etc - Lord know how many tables had been cleaned with the same cloth)Bread pieces on the carpets and generally unclean.Forgot one meal from order, arrived late and luke warm at best.2 stars, only because the staff were friendly.Probably won't visit again just because of cleanliness.

The family went for a meal in here. Prices are reasonable. Had burger ,my chicken was a bit dry, the fries are too die for. The kids like the fries.

A lovely old cinema turned into a Wetherspoon's, like the Wallaw in Blyth. It's a huge pub with a large carpark as well. When we went, a lot of the customers weren't wearing their masks or those that were, didn't have them on correctly. None of the staff seemed to care. The food is typical Wetherspoon's fare.

Wallsend weatherspoons (the ritz)Firstly I'd just like to point out I'm not one to leave a bad review or to complain about a restaurant in general but this by far has took the biscuit! Upon entering weatherspoons I headed to my table and placed an order via the app, the 3 of us ordered large mixed grills and soft drinks, as our food arrived which was pretty quick to be honest we noticed a couple of items missing, we then asked a member of staff where our 18 onion rings were and our garlic bread with cheese which we'd ordered as an extra. To be told there's no onion rings and they won't be replacing them with anything else. So we then asked another member of staff about this to be told 'Well there is a sign on the bar! Baring in mind we are social distancing so had to be seated right away to order off the app. Anyhow half way through eating my mixed grill I noticed my pork was pink, so yet again I asked a member of staff to rectify this to be told its cooked. Then I was approached by another member of staff who asked for my pork and took it away, for her to then come back and state it had been probed and was at the right temperature, the pork was stone cold so how that worked out I will never know. After all of this I continued to eat the chips which were actually really nice , for another member of staff to come over to the table and started being snotty with us as though we under cooked his meal. I mean by far is this the worst customer service in history and a total unpleasant experience. So up yours weatherspoons 🖕😂 Weatherspoons #weatherspoons

This is a nice place to be, we entered from the main straight and through the courtyard entrance which is very large and grand. The outside space is impressive, so great first impression so I was expecting yhe inside to be equally as nice or better. I was not disappointed. It has a nice layout with high and low tables with booths at the far windows. A nice long bar with plenty of staff so no long wait at the bar. The toilets are on the ground floor along a corridor with a screen with the beers that are on offer. I will definitely be back.
