The Sportsman in North Tyneside

I cant recommend this pub enough. Amazing staff who are so welcoming. Good wholesome food, wine is always the right temperature and all great value for money. Went to our first quiz night this evening with some visiting friends and had a great night. Well done to all the team. We'll be back soon. L

Like the sportsman, nice friendly atmosphere and the bar staff are at your best service. Quiz on Thursday nite as well.

An outstanding pub. I had a hot beef sandwich with chips and pint of Theakston's, both of which were superb. Even better though was the service from two wonderful ladies behind the bar. If this were my local, I'd be in every day!!

Lovely pub held a family wake here staff where accommodating, could do with a larger range of drinks/spirits but very reasonable prices and good decor. Didn't try the food other then buffet laid on.

Loved the atmosphere of the pub, will come again and try the food next time. Very friendly bar staff, first time we've been since it's had the new owners and very impressed.
