We stopped off on a 40 mile bike ride. The take out was closed but we were directed to the restaurant & ordered fish & chips, yes they were expensive but tasted just wonderful. We sat on the wall overlooking the beach. Cappuccino was👌definitely recommend.

Great location by the beach. Great tables outside with a view of the beach. Good selection of food especially fish of the day. We both had tempura haddock and it was probably the best fish we've had. Good choice of beers. Friendly helpful staff. We will definitely return.

Only had a coffee here, so can't review the food, but what a lovely place to visit. The place itself has been beautifully decorated and furnished, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the views out to sea and down the coast to Tynemouth are stunning. Would recommend, and will definitely return next time I'm in the area 👍

The view is situated on tynemouth beach. Local.us service will drop you off close by or tynemouth metro station is about 20-30min walk away. You can also pay and park if you wish to drive down. Lovely decor,it is clean and tidy and was greeted by friendly staff. The food was really nice you pay a bit more here but the bacon sandwich and cuppa was well worth the treat. Has toilets which were kept clean on my visit. They have wheelchair accessibility but never noticed accessible toilets. I will return and have mentioned it to family and friends already. What beautiful views also 😊x

On being shown to table I asked waiter re gluten free option, naked dish but bread would be toasted as it was from freezer I said that was OK. When meal came I was presented with bread roll identical to my friends, I asked waiter if it was gluten free he took it back to kitchen and returned several minutes later with toasted gluten free bread. Not a good mistake to make. I also ordered garden peas but received mushy I just let that go. I have to say though the fish was delicious and made up for the error.Lovely views too.

Visited for lunch with friends. It was quite busy but we were seated quickly. The staff were lovely with just the right amount of attentiveness. The food was delicious, my seafood linguine was honestly the best I've tasted. Obviously the view was great too.

Promised I'd update my poor review from the last time we visited. Not sure if it was new staff or short staffed because of Covid but it wasn't good. We came back again as the food has always been good. Everything was perfect, the meals, the service, the view, everything. We love this place and will keep going back.

·

Lovely location super food and served by really friendly staff. There was a problem with ordering and the tills when we visited but in spite of the problems that caused the staff were so apologetic and friendly .

Visited the takeaway section of the View today. Really busy inside and clearly busy outside as the chefs and kitchen staff were rushing around.Had a bacon stottie and a scone. Bacon stottie was good value for menu and the scone was tasty and warm. Coffee not up to much but to be expected.Has baby changing facilities inside and a few seats outside.Worth a visit.
