The Waterfront in North Tyneside

Beautifully cooked fish and chips, so nice we recommended it to our friends and we all went! Special tip...The rose wine goes really well with the fish. The staff are super too, really nice and friendly.

Got to be the best fish and chips I've ever had absolutely beautiful and plentiful . staff are very pleasant and helpful . definitely recommend the haddock (so how ever you are cooking your items please please don't change it 👌👍🐟 ). There is plenty of parking close by free at the beach car park and ticket parking opposite way disabled parking outside the shop . now this shop gets very busy at weekends and Friday nights around 7pm they also do ice cream . there is seating close by . as the fish quay is very popular place so be prepared to queue and remember these people work very hard so please be respectful take care stay safe.

Great fresh Cod and Chips freshly cooked and a proper cup of tea. Lovely and being over 60 very good value. 7 quid for fish chips and peas plus a pot of tea...virtually giving it away. I'm going back !

I liked this place very much. The food was good quality, delivered hot to the table in quick time. The fact that we had to wait in a queue for half an hour was a sign of how popular this place must be. The portions are very good, especially for the bigger eater, although you can ask for a smaller portion if you are not so inclined. The prices are very good and it is a long time since we have got two fish and chips with mushy peas and curry sauce with bread and butter, tea and coffee for just under £20. Happy days.

Never miss go for my Fish and chips every Friday they are so good nice fresh Fish and chips. When you he the scare was on and you couldn't sit in I bought my Fish and Chip sat in my car in the Sea Front car park!,,, I give them a good Home things are back to normal there!

Take away cod and chips today was like hunt the scag end. Disgusting how little fish there was in all the batter. What a waste of money and calories!! Next time I would rather drive to Colman's at South Shields for quality fish that is worth the money. Literally that was all the fish I got 😡

Visited the restaurant for my birthday on the 30th Dec and the fish and chips also the pizzas were excellent. The only complaint was the shortage of tables and the length of time we had to wait in the queue to get in. As the food was great we will still be visiting the place again.

That was honestly the best fish and chips I have ever had in a restaurant. The batter wasn't greasy, the fish was white and flaky, and the chips were properly cooked. The meals were excellent value for money. Plus it's dog friendly and the staff are lovely.

Great fish and chips. Restaurant much smaller at the moment, due to kitchen expansion. I understand that they have bought the place next door and plan to knock through and make more table space. Always good food but don't like the new booth style seating.

Meals very good quality, best fish & chips around. Service superb and polite. Would highly recommend The Waterfront. Prices extremely good value.
