£10 for regular fish chips & curry sauce - completely tasteless and about a teaspoon of curry sauce. Staff didn’t even know how to put salt and vinegar on properly!

DONT EAT HERE!Went on boxing day, we were the only ones in the place. Had to wait ages for the food. Mushy peas were dry as anything and stuck to the box. The greasiest fish and chips ever. Had a few bites and both myself and husband had awful stomach ache all afternoon into the night. Worst food ever.

Bloody amazing chips from here yesterday!Absolutely delicious!Was debating whether to get curry sauce or gravy and we opted for curry sauce in the end and no regrets.Chips, batter bits and curry sauce! Absolute treat and a North East delicacy!Please come here and get this in ya belly!!!

We had some lovely fish and chips today. 3 kids portions and 2 adults was ample. We have a lot of fish and chips and these were the best we have had in a while. Good portion sizes and the kids ages 10, 6 & 3 could not get enough. Fish was tasty and not too greesy with lovely chips. Will go again if in the area but will be travelling back to Kent so unfortunately won't get the opportunity.

I hate to complain but!!Ate here today. The clue should have been that the shop was empty where as the one further down was very busy. Me and my husband were very hungry after a walk to the lighthouse and back.The fish was very poor. The batter on the fish was soft and gooey not crispy. The meal was hot but very disappointed.

The chips are the worst chips I have ever has.just been and got some chips. Got back into car opened them up and chips were all brown like they had been there for hours .shocking how they get away serving chips to the public. Recommend please don't go there .

Had food on bank holiday monday from instore more black chips than normal chips/ also looked as if been cooked twice did not complain as was busy was put off by these / used be very good but always seems poor on a bank holiday think just churn them out on bank holiday

The food was amazing, nice and hot delicious food, customer service was excellent and friendly. We got a cheeseburger 🍔 with chips 🍟 definitely going again and recommended to others. I don't understand the negative reviews too.

Was at this chippy yesterday was my first visit.. I ordered Large fish and chips twice. When they where given to me i had a look at my food and it was appalling. Fish was all batter hardly any cod inside, Chips looked like they were made days ago prior to my visit. Everything tased like they were reheated, Absolutely disgusting will never be back. I'm surprised this chippy is even open selling food!!!

Just been in. 15.49 on 14/9/2020. Always get nice fish and chips here but the girl on till needs to change her attitude. She needs retraining in customer service. So impolite. I wont be back. Also when i asked for an extra fork she picked one up at the mouth end and handed me it begrudgingly. Not great in any situation, especially the current one. She never said, enjoy, goodbye, or nowt! Do you business a favour and train your staff to be nice and aware of covid-19. Until you do i will go elsewhere. Shame, because your food is nice.
