Turkish Delight in North Tyneside

A shame that it's a cash only place in this day and age. Decent doner kebab & salad.

My kids love the pizza and kebab. We always get our take out from here...

Unbelievable. I ordered a donner kebab. I received a large tub full of donner meat, a tiny piece of pitta bread, and a salad. All in separate containers. It felt like some kind of sick joke. Not a kebab by any stretch of the imagination. I hadn't eaten properly all day and this was supposed to be my evening meal. I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

The restaurant is clean and tidy, and the service is really excellent.

The lady behind the desk was lovely. But when ordering the chips and dip were meant to be separate as advertised but instead they were all wrapped into one, for this price it isn’t worth it, you get a few chips that then become soggy due to the sauce it’s wrapped in.If the chips and sauce were not in the wrap then the meal would have been much better. But due to the misinformed information we were given on the website we weren’t able to have a pleasant meal I hope this will be rectified in the near future

NTGH porters always use Turkish delight the staff are excellent as well as the service and the food is always hot and well presented and always looks like the photos on the menu I would well recommend this takeaway to anyone.

Very tasty. Plenty of meat in chicken and shish kebabs. Salad came separately so not soggy by the time I got home.

Due to current situation decided not to eat out at a restaurant whilst enjoying a few days in Whitley Bay and opted to grab a take out. We ordered a chicken kebab, chips, salad, hot sauce and mayo and took it back to our hotel room. I can honestly say it was absolutely spot on! Seperately wrapped, nice and hot and a great salad. Loads to eat and we couldn't finish it all, all for £10, great service, great quality, great value. On two occasions we used Turkish Delight for our evening meal after a few beers. Highly recommended from a very experienced kebab eater.

Tried this a few years ago now and won't go anywhere else. The mixed kebab is amazing, four different types of meat the salad is always fresh and really stands out from other take aways. If you like proper turkish food this is the closest you'll get from a takeaway. I have now moved over 25 minutes away from here and still drive over to collect as I know it's worth it!
