Its ok for a stop off like many other garden centers dobbies owned the meals are ok but nothing to right home about. Have a great stock and nice sitting out places when sunny dogs are welcome in most of the place good for a short stop off though would say the sainburies inside is around a pound to 2 pound more than the normal big stores to shop in.

Just got back from having mothers day afternoon tea with my daughter and seven month old granddaughter. Was a lovely selection of food got a box of lovely hotel chocolat each Lovely friendly staff

Cafe is excellent, hot food, varied and big portions. Great kids soft play area too. Also has a Sainsburys and other retail outlets. Worth a visit.

I bought 2 Amaryllis bulbs and initially only one flowered. I was going to throw the inert bulb away but thought the top might be too tight so cut it with a sharp blade. It now has 14 flowers. Incredible

Good clean well organised shopping options. Restaurant is much improved and service and welcome very good. As are public amenities. Soft play and Sainsbury's are positive features and Christmas and all events are good.

Visited the Cafe and there was a huge queue with very few staff actually doing anything. There were numerous tables that were left with dirty dishes on etc and for the 30 mins I there was there, none were cleared. Dreadful experience for what was quite expensive food. More staff are needed here and if management do not see that, then they should question their ability to run an establishment such as this.

I love this place. Is it a little expensive for some things? Yes but the plants I have purchased have always been very healthy unlike other places. Staff obviously know what they're doing and take great care and pride in the plants that they sell. You can also pick u some great bargains end of season. I bought a load of really cheap herbs which are still going strong. Love the cafe- nice food and decent coffee. I love having a mooch around and seeing all the different gifts and bits and bobs that they sell. Excellent pet selection too-all good quality high branded items cheaper than pets at home. Their Christmas shop is very well stocked snd the decorations are high quality. Again they are expensive if you compare to cheap shops such as Home Bargains but you do get what you pay for and here you know you are getting good quality items whether for your garden or for your home.

Went to buy some tropical fish but we walked through the shop 1st and they have a lovely selection of Christmas gifts decorations cakes food everything. Lots of choice once we got over to the fish staff couldn't of been more helpful. The kids fed the giant koi in the indoor pond for £1 really enjoyed shopping here

Visited the cafe/restaurant today at 12.50. A long queue, one person serving food, one person serving hot drinks, one person on the till, so had a 20 minute wait. 75% of tables had not been cleared therefore struggling to find a clean sanitized table. One person, with trolley, eventually cleared three tables, why not the other 25 tables? Obviously a shortage of staff creating problems plus those who were there not using there time sensibly. Unfortunately will think twice before returning, sad as have been going for years.

The taste of my own bare hand would be more enjoyable than the food in this garden centre. Waited half an hour at the counter to be told they had little to no stock of pretty much everything on the supposedly “new” menu. When I finally got to the till to pay for my food and drinks, not only did 3 people push in front of me, I also paid £20 for a jacket potato and a sandwich and two cold drinks. Food was served too quickly to be made fresh, honestly tasted disgusting. I wouldn’t eat there again if I was starving to death.
