We dropped in for a early morning coffee on the 12th April 22 and we were “not”disappointed it’s location is good as is it’s accessibility with lots of outdoor seating including a underneath open sided shelterInside is clean with lots of bench and table seating. We did not eat on this occasion.. but could see a fantastic selection of food and cakes on display.Staff very friendly and the coffee was excellent 👍.Very well done to all concerned 🥇After or drink we moved through to the post office for a look round our eyes 👀 could not miss the cold counter displaying a good selection of cakes and pastries We bought a couple of the red pepper and pesto quiches 🤪 to take away with us for a picnic lunch and all I can say is SIMPLE THE BEST WE HAVE EVER TASTED 👌🥇So returned the next day for more to take for our journey home .All in all this business deserves to do well as you only ever get out what you put in and they definitely put in to it in every way .We look forward to our return to the Island and the rightfully called 1st Class food not forgetting the connecting post office😉👌

Nice little cafe but unfortunately the cake was stale and the carmel slice had coconut in which wasn't warned fir people with allergies.

Great dog friendly cafe! Had plenty to chose from at a good price. We had breakfast sandwiches (gluten free bread was available).

Very disappointed, returned here after visiting in the summer when we had a lovely coffee. Unfortunately today the staff needed an attitude makeover, after speaking to us rather rudely for having my cousins diabetic snack on the table. She made a point of embarrassing us in front of other customers, which we challenged and the staff member stormed off in a huff. As my cousin judges for the North East tourism awards, it's safe to say she will not be recommending this cafe. Great 'dirty chai latte' considering the quaintness of the cafe and staff's inability to take constructive feedback. #1stclassattitude

Come on guys. Smallest flat white ever! £2.75 ..you get 4 time the amount in Costa. Nice taste I give you that

Such a lovely place with an exceptional, marvellous person who was running out when we were there, at least. Lovely ice cream, delightful coffee and sausage rolls, and when we dropped an ice cream, they replaced it for free. When we bought souvenirs, they gave us little mementos of the day too. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant! Thank you.

Got their house special: local crab. Burnt to perfection if you have a particular taste.. goat cheese ciabatta and ice cream were good, as well as the salad. Hence 3 stars

Clean, outdoor/indoor eating, friendly staff. We ordered Lobster Roll, Nachos and Cheese Panini. Really tempted by their cakes as they look sumptuous but sadly we were too full

Great place for breakfast. The staff were helpful, friendly and service was quick. Also, I was really excited to see an example of cafe/post office/shop all under one roof, something that I think is going to protect essential rural village services in the future.
