Beautifully stocked shelves and Farrow and Ball paint everywhere. What is on them is overpriced but delicious. The geezer who works there is supercilious and condescending. "two coffees to takeaway please" I said. "it's all takeaway" he sneered. Just keep it to yourself mate. I felt stupid. I didn't say anything.

We walked up from the beach and found this gem of a shop! Amazing coffee and a peppermint tea from loose leaf not a tea bag!!! Brilliant. The frittata and haggis pie were scrumptious and the Portuguese tart finished the feast off nicely. The lady who served us was warm and friendly. Do pop in if you are lucky enough to find yourselves in the area.

Absolutely fabulous deli. A lovely array of fresh produce. Always guaranteed a tasty bacon sandwich and a coffee after a walk on the beach.

Fab coffee, delicious sweet treats and warm friendly service-Scott’s of Alnmouth is a gem tucked away in Alnmouth. If you are lucky enough to be in this part of England it’s a must to visit.

This Deli is a very nice shop, and sells interesting products. We have been in today , and were hoping that the attitude toward your customers had improved.Unfortunately not.Still curt and unpleasant. It feels that you are doing us a favour letting us over the threshold.

A lovely clean shop that does gorgeous coffee and unbelievably delicious Portugese tarts. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that my haggis pie was bland.

·

Amazing (if slightly expensive) deli/ grocers in the middle of Alnmouth with lots of treats in store - from pasta, sauces & oils/vinegars to local beers, gins, cheeses/crackers/chutneys & nibbles. Plus they're always baking some amazing cakes & do a range of sandwiches to take with you if you're going off on a walk or a day trip.

Probably the nicest coffee in my week holiday (as closest to my taste back home), perhaps on the expensive side but worth it. The card machine was not working when I went in so my cash left would only allow a Pastel De Nata as well, but very nice. Only wish would be it opening earlier but 10am seems quite common in the area. There's quite a few quiet benches on the beach to enjoy your purchases. There is a Post Office very close by should you need cash.

This is not a review on their products, as unfortunately we were turned away whilst they were still open for another 15 minutes due to the staff prematurely putting cleaning chemicals through the coffee machine, we then saw at least another 10 people suffer the same fate.. very bad.As a cafe owner myself, if I knew my staff were turning paying customers away whilst they should still be open, they'd be getting a disciplinary, if not the sack. A real shame as the offering looked great.

Great place, you can tell the owners and staff have made an effort to delivery really high quality and different food and produce. Coffee was really good as was the take away food. Worth making the trip to Alnmouth for a visit and wandering along the beach with a coffee.
