We collected our fullworks carvery today. No beef. The food looked & tasted like it had been cooked yesterday & warmed up today.. minus a pudding. Horrible.

Went for breakfast at 10.45 but by 11.10 they were clearing it away, although it says it's served until 11.30! No black pudding left when we got there either. The pub itself is tired and in dire need of a makeover, however, the staff were very friendly, which was nice. No phone signal though. Can't say we'll be hurrying back :-(

We thought we'd go for breakfast. Not impressed and it wasn't even busy. The food on the counter, which there was very little of was dry and stuck together.Where we were sitting we could see the hot counter. As we sat the cook came out of the kitchen with a slice of bread in one hand and proceeded to pick through the dry bacon obviously looking for the nicer bits to make a sandwich with for himself. Then walked off whilst licking his fingers 😲 Really???Won't be returning!!!!

Great place for all you can eat breakfast.... went for the first time on Sunday. Lovely and hot and cooked beautifully....they even have fried bread (which I haven't had for years but had 2 pieces!)!). We got there before 9:30 and had a filter coffee whilst waiting for family to arrive. It's a self service from the hotplate counter and everything was spotless. We will be back.

Easy to find. Free parking on using the restaurant. Seated where we wanted to sit. Food was delicious and very filling. Orders were brought promptly and service with a friendly and helpful smile from the lovely Matty. Thanks guys xx we'll be back!

Been meaning to try this place for ages as the food offer looks great so what could go wrong, eh? Well, the Staff. All of them. The STAFF ARE AWFUL. I mean they seemed to go out of their way to be unhelpful. We were dining as a family of 6 with 3 kids including a toddler and a grandparent. When one of us asked where the cutlery was after coming back from the carvery.."should be on the table"; where are the high chairs?.."in the front opposite the window", anyone serving at the carvery?..."someone should be there shortly". No one looked happy. No one table checked to see if we were OK after our other meals arrived. We were handed an empty bottle of vinegar and salt shaker when asked for a range of condiments. Asked to see/speak to the manager at the end of our meal to provide him/her with an opportunity to apologise and explain if there were mitigating circumstances that affected their ability to provide an enjoyable experience and were shocked to be told it was the guy pulling pints behind the bar (who was actually one of the more unhelpful ones earlier). As my wife waited to speak to him at the end of the bar, another member of staff who had now finished her shift and was now eating at the bar herself (with her legs practically pitched over the bar) began sniggering and muttering to him about us. Shocking so my wife didn't wait to waste her breath and we all left. I would AVOID until they train their staff some basic manners, let alone customer service.

Went for a carvery, my daughter is autistic so asked for a quiet area. They sat us right next to the bar where the staff were very loud and one was even chatting to another colleague about her night out and how she getting certain body parts out while my daughter was there able to hear it all.Asked to be changed tables which they did while mumbling on.I'd advise anyone to avoid and try the willow farm instead, great pub/diner also do a amazing carvery and absolutely lovely staff there.
