Not a warm welcome from the girl who served us ,but the veg was amazing 7 different veg which was pretty good but there was 1 piece of beef which my piece was really fatty & the gravy very runny ..the chef / owner refunded our money which was very hospitable but we wanted to pay for at least one meal as my wife ate most of hers ...but the chef said if you don't like All of it you don't pay wow we were astonished but I hope they took on board our comments & do well 👍

Wonderful experience. Owner and staff friendly and helpful. Chef absolutely knows his skills and results were excellent. Was a birthday treat.

Delicious! Highly recommend the hot mint chocolate fondant and the panna cotta! What a talented chef! Great service!

This restaurant was recommended as a place to satisfy a foodie. We were a mixed party of omnivores and veggies. As it was New Year's day the meal was a taster menu comprising of fifteen? courses if you included the amuse bouches. Not only were both meaty and veggie menus interesting they were also beautifully executed. We were perfectly attended to with neither too much hosting nor feeling chivvied along to eat and leave. We even loved the crockery; joking that it felt like a ceramic fetish night. All in all it was pretty perfect as a (birthday) meal can go. Thanks to Sarah and the team.🌈

I cannot rate here high enough. The food and service was amazing. Everything cooked and presented perfectly. We went in late on a Sunday and had the set menu. The food was such high quality and the price was really good too. We both had the monkfish for our main and I can honestly say that I've never tasted better. We will definitely be back on our next visit.

Audela is such a delight and somewhere you should make sure you book into long before you visit. It's a family run restaurant and the front of house is her domain and the kitchen is his.The service and food both were exceptional throughout and I can only repeat, BOOK NOW as its a destination venue which would be charging double if it was newcastle or even more further south. Good luck to the Audela team, you have a winning recipe and one day I will return

Very good food (best cheese soufflé I've had) and excellent service. Not overly expensive for the level of quality (£24.50 for three courses). Decided to give 5 stars despite a couple of misgivings: menu has only three choices per course (Sunday) and the ambience is a bit dark and clinical. Photos are cheese soufflé and white chocolate parfait with strawberries.

Had a wonderful meal at Audela yesterday. All the dishes I had were cooked beautifully and the service was excellent too - the staff were really friendly and welcoming. I think it's important to mention at the moment that the restaurant also had really good covid measures in place which helped me to feel very safe while dining out. I'm really glad I found this place - it was a real treat and I'll be straight back the next time I'm in Berwick!

Best meal I have had in Berwick-upon-Tweed, in fact one of my top meals for sometime. Lovely staff, not hurried. However interesting choice of background music, it was music I enjoy, the Jam and Oasis just not when I’m eating.
