Very nice venue, easy to book online seafood sharing platter needed to be slightly larger, there were 3 of some items & bread was past it's best. Only a 4 star rather than 5 due to that. Beware it's on the expensive side, it's a hotel after all.

Place is lovely, view are amazing and staff are very friendly. Unfortunately we found a hair had been deep fried into my sons fish and chips. Staff offered a replacement which took a long time to turn up, and when it did it had little fish in it and had been cremated! Shame really as he was enjoying it until finding the hair. Refund given but did ruin the experience somewhat!

Lovely atmosphere and great choice of food and drink. Staff were very friendly, and the allowed dogs to sit in certain areas even for food which was great. A bit on the pricey side but well worth it for the quality of food!

A lovely big dog friendly pub. A must if you're stopping in Seahouses. Several dog zones in the pub mean that you can bring your furry friends in whilst having a drink or meal. Can't comment on the rooms as didn't stay here but I heard about the amazing buffet breakfasts from people who had!Quite often find it hard to get a table at peak dinner time, as people often reserve them in advance, so think ahead if you're planning a visit. Bar can get a little overwhelmed at times but the staff quickly work through the waiting throngs!Food is lovely and reasonably priced although clearly affected by recent inflation! Recommended.

We called in for a couple of drinks with our dogs. What a gorgeous welcome we got. No hassle at all. Beers great, food looked and smelt gorgeous…we will definitely be back to eat. Very comfortable and well worth a visit. Thanks

Outstanding hotel. We had a winter break deal, but food throughout our stay was excellent. All the staff we interacted with were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and adequate, plenty of hot drinks facilities in room. Parking is limited mind you.

Bamburgh castle Hotel is located in the centre of Seahouses with magnificent views over the sea. We were assigned a room in the annex. Our room was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean and very comfortable We booked B&B but ate in the bar each night for our evening meal. The food was excellent. All staff from the manager through to housekeepers were very friendly and very responsive. I reported a wall light out in our bathroom on our first evening. We were offered an alternative room as maintenance was not available until the following day. We declined as we had fully unpacked. First thing in the morning the light was fixed. We usually stay at The Victoria Hotel in Bamburgh but decided to have a change. We were not disappointed. The accommodation rate was competitive. The bonus was they did not make a charge for our two four legged friends which saved us £60.00 on The Victoria. We will definitely stay again.

I had a last minute overnight re-charge my batteries stay. Got a great deal for dinner, bed and breakfast with sea view balcony room. I can't fault it. Service was welcoming, attentive, warm, friendly and natural. Room was lovely, clean and comfortable, and smelt great. SItting on the balcony with the sound of the waves, the spectacular view and the changing light across the sky was priceless. The bar/restaurant had great atmosphere, I chose to sit in the dog friendly area and enjoyed a very sociable dinner as my fellow diners and their dogs were all lovely and chatty. I accept the food isn't cheap, I discussed the price with my fellow diners, all of whom are people who dine out/holiday regularly and their view was it was comparable to other places as prices have gone up everywhere. I enjoyed what I ordered and was accepting of the pricing. The location, the atmosphere and the service makes this a winner with me. I didnt want to leave and I can't wait to go back

Beautiful pub with huge windows overlooking the sea, fantastic food and drink all though a bit pricey. If you say here the rooms are great but you wouldn’t want to be in the room next to the kitchen extraction fan, especially in the summer because once you open the windows it becomes very noisy…. Still I give this place 5 stars

A most excellent hotel and bar restaurant, with lovely comfy furnishings and wonderful views of the coastline. The breakfast is very good, with plenty of choices. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the room we stayed in was big enough with a king-size bed, spacious bathroom, TV and radio choices, and with tea/making facilities...just the job 👌🤗
