Bay Leaf Lounge in Northumberland

Delicious food and lovely staff. Highly recommended.

I have just had chicken korma and pilau rice from the bayleaf lounge and it is the most disgusting thing I have ever had, the korma tasted nothing like korma and the pilau rice was nothing like any pilau I've had from any other Indians. I don't normally leave bad reviews but this was truly awful, the whole lot went in the bin after the first taste.

Excellent food and friendly staff. If you want a quality curry, I recommend The Bay Leaf in Alnwick.

Fantastic Indian takeaway and restaurant. First experience we ordered dinner for the family online. Prices were great and despite the long drive and rural nature of where we stayed, the dinner arrived hot. We enjoyed it so much that we ordered a takeaway for collection later in the week. Lovely and caring staff made you feel welcomed. Food very tasty again and cooked to order. Would definitely recommend.

The food was delicious, freshly made with lots of flavour. There were 7 of us and we all really enjoyed it. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. 5 stars from us all. ✨️

Simply Fabulous Bengali Restaurant :0)We had veg starters and fish main course, chapattis and paratha and everything was just gorgeous. The highest compliment I can pay is this tasted like home cooked (Apna style) food. Nothing super fancy but just really, REALLY tasty (the way food should be).We chatted to the owner and staff ( who were just so friendly) for ages after our meal and the whole experience made us feel really special. If you're in Alnwick and want some great value, really tasty food, made as if it was cooked for a big family meal: head here!
