Really good food and reasonably priced in a fantastic location. However there was just under an hour wait between ordering and receiving food. Which we were not advised of prior to ordering.Have since been back multiple times. Food and service have been fantastic and food wait times reasonable and well presented.

Shocking service stood waiting at the bar until 2 members of staff had finished talking before i was even acknowledged, food described as pub grub however more like frozen fried rubbish it took a while to come but probably because it was being fried. The place had a smell about it needed a really good clean. It used to be a cracking place previously and I think they are missing a huge trick but until its sorted out we won't be back.

Took my 3 grandchildren for tea yesterday and to be honest disappointed is not the word! One ordered the burger in a bun. Description said with lettuce and tomato. When it arrived it was a dry bun, burnt burger and no lettuce and tomato. When challenged i was asked was the the lettuce and tomato not on the plate! Well no it wasn't, it was not in the bun either!!! Offered a free ice cream (because that will fill her up!!) Definitely won't be going back. All 5 meals were disappointing. This place needs to shake their staff, they need to stop talking to each other and focus on the customer. Chef needs to concentrate on delivering quality food

Been today service absolutely abissmal. Food cold, dirty dishes left. Toilets blocked with toilet paper, doors on cubicles won't lock. Had better at a burger van!!!!!

It's clean and tidy and the staff are very polite. The food is basic good pub grub. They will also cook your food how you would like it, for example my partner likes his fish well cooked and they accommodated that.

Good honest food and professional welcoming staff make this establishment a pleasure to frequent. Treat your self to a buffet "full breakfast" to set you up for the day.A good size kids play area too for all you parents out there looking for a suitable place for all to enjoy! Great evening menu too, with theixed grill my personal favourite!

Well .... 😬 Popped out for tea, the service from the lass serving us (with the blue hair) was outstanding!!! However and she know whats coning .... for my starter I was served Fish goujons which were £5.29 on the menu and I kid you not I was served 4 fish fingers on a plate ... no lemon now garnish no nothing it was highly embarrassing I find it such a shame that it was a manager that brought the dish over too the table. I used to manage bars and that 0late would not have left my pass in such a shambolic state 😅 the poor lass serving us seemed pretty embarrassed when I asked her to take it away bless her man 😔 The mains were spot on though but out of 5 I could only give the experience a 3 because of the actual joke of a starter served to me .... by a manager 😅 Wish I had taken a picture it was soo bad man 😬

Service was terrible waited 25 minutes for someone to take drink order and food order then 30 minutes later starters arrived still no drinks I went to the bar to collect them no apology only 4 other tables in the whole place were taken so not busy by any means starter looked terrible and tasted of oil gentleman behind us was disgusted with his food another 25 minutes main course arrived chicken was like rubber salad was old and lifeless in-house coleslaw had been made with old veg that had a blackish tinge the mothers fish was gray and the skin on chips were green (this makes you Ill btw) we had completely given up it was just horrendous asked for the bill and yet another 20 minute wait I won't be back and won't be recommending it to anyone that's for sure this used to be a great place to come just needs its doors closed 🤢 don't waste money or time 😤

Me and Mum are up in Bedlington seeing the family so decided to pop in here with our cousin for Sunday lunch. Personally that was the best Sunday lunch carvery that I've had for a long time. The staff were extremely friendly and the service was quick. Considering you get quite a large meal plus unlimited veg, £9.99 for a carvery I'd say is very good value for money, and even the kids size carvery, which is £3.99, was on the adult sized plates. We're in the process of coming back up in October and will definitely come back in when we're up.

We arrived here without booking as it was pretty empty. Although we did arrive at lunch time. After about 10 minutes the member of staff and his manager seated us at a small table near the park door. It was lovely. Plenty of people came in after that so we thought ahh the food must be good. I ordered the smothered chicken burger, Fries and coleslaw my daughter thr kids margarita pizza with corn on the cob and chips and my friend the smothered chicken. We waited around half an hour for the food to arrive which I don't mind if its freshly cooked to order but we were the only ones in. It arrived and we were looking forward to it. I took one bite and my chicken was overcooked, although it was plenty flavoursome. It wasn't visually appealing though. My daughter gagged on her pizza as it was just tomato puree and my friend, well she just eats anything 🤣 we spoke to a member of staff about my daughters pizza and she took it back to the kitchen for thr chefs to put a bit more cheese on. They made a fresh one with minimal tomato puree on and plenty cheese which she was so happy about. Its thr little things that make it more pleasant. We would go back as its a nice area and service was good although I think I will be changing my mind on a smothered chicken burger. There was also no prices on the menu at all which we found quite strange.
