Buongiorno in Northumberland

This restaurant is one of my favourites, personally always has been. The staff are lovely and the food is exquisite, I definitely recommend coming here if you have the chance

A gem of a restaurant in the historic town of Hexham. We enjoyed a friendly welcome and excellent, attentive service. It waa lunchtime and clearly this is a popular place to enjoy authentic Italian food prepared by an expert chef. We shall definitely call again on our next visit to the North. Thank you.

Chance encounter with grandchildren for lunch. Superb authentic Italian food, pastas & lovely wine and desserts. Great service from lovely staff. Highly recomended and so much better than so called "Italian themed " chains of restaurants.

A proper Italian restaurant. We had takeaway and it was great, but pizze need to be eaten fresh from the oven so I wish we'd have eaten in. Staff were friendly and they even had Italian radio playing to remind me how rusty my Italian is nowadays.

Excellent little Italian restaurant with friendly attentive staff. Lovely potato and leek soup to start followed by a delicious spaghetti Bolognese. My wife had calamari followed by mussels. Equally lovely. Reasonable prices. Would recommend!

Went in today for some takeaway food, so glad we did, it tasted so nice.Not like some "Italian" restaurants where you could make better at home, this guy knows what he is doing, and it tastes so authentic too. Rarely tasted food like it outside of Italy before. Even the courtyard around the back has that Italian feel, I bet its amazing on a summers day sat out.If you expect over the top pizza toppings etc. Which destroy the pizza then you don't understand Italian food.Owner even lent us 2 forks which he was prepared to loose, as we were at hexam hospital for an appointment. Needless to say we returned them after our meal.Just go here, it is a true Italian dining experience even if it is takeaway. When lock down is over we will be travelling here again.
