Had a burger and chips and it was fantastic. Loads of melted stringy mozzarella on the burger homemade chips with the perfect amount of sea salt on them were banging

We had a lovely lunch at Cafe Maelmin. Lots to choose from, great service, the tea was hot! and more than one little cup too. Most places the tea seems to be luke warm. The food was delicious, we will definitely be going back

Good service and a nice menu with generous coffee and food portions. And they do cakes. Range of gifts too. Handy stop on A697 near Wooler and Ford.

Fantastic wee cafe we stopped at on the way to Alnwick. Superb service, lovely atmosphere and delicious food. We had full English breakfast and they didn't hold anything back, super choice. Also some nice cakes to take away!

We had a bacon sandwich and ham egg and chips on our latest visit, and partner reported that her butty was excellent. The ham was cut thick and tasted like it was home cured, and the chips were chunky and very tasty. Highly recommended!

The hidden gem just of the road. Stopped at this cafe as they had outdoor seating. When we went in it was spotlessly clean. A good menu including some fabulous cakes .we ordered fish and chips. Good price. But this was much better than the run of the mill soggy battered fish. The fish had a really light very crispy batter and was beautifully cooked.gge chips were crispy on the outside and soft inside with a sprinkle of sea salt. The tartar sauce was home made and lovely. I can't remember having such nice fish and chips. The other customers were tucking into some lovely food. Would recommend

Dropped in to this lovely little cafe hoping for a good pot of tea & a scone. We got that & more all the food on display looked homemade & delicious the menu was a surprise too, plenty of choice for a country cafe, we also found that there are to rooms to rent on a nightly basis around £85 including breakfast.Well worth a visit if your passing you will receive a warm welcome & good fare.
