Food: 10/10Price: 10/10Staff: 10/10Cakes: 15/10Don’t even think twice about whether you should go here. Just go. The food is absolutely amazing and the staff are really lovely!I must warn you about the cakes though; you’ll never find cakes better these and if you get one you’ll be eating it for the rest of the day.The portion sizes are huge! But just because they’re big doesn’t mean it’s overcompensating for taste. I’ve had traybakes and cakes with flavours that I’d never even think of combining.Possibly one of my favourites is the Mars and Bounty brownie. Any kind of brownie is good to me.A really great option on the sit in menu is the soup and bacon roll. Great price and great, homemade flavour~All in all a definite favourite of mine!I wish they delivered because I don’t drive to be able to get there. I’d be ordering my lunch every single day if that was the case!

We came here by chance and we were all cold and hungry, but what a find! Really delicious hearty food at a good price. Good portions, and absolutely lovely friendly staff, who stopped to chat and give us some advice about where to visit in the area, even though it was busy and near closing time. I will definitely be back!

Great lunch, great cakes, great coffee...just great👍 👌. This is a gem of a cafe with high quality produce. The lunches here are really tasty, no cheap ingredients and you cannot resist the cakes, awesome. The coffee is really good. The staff are so friendly, chatty and helpful a credit to the place.

Wife and I had brunch bagels this morning. She had the bagel stack (sausage, bacon, egg, cheese, haggis and hash browns) and I had the garlic chicken, bacon and aoili bagel with chips, it was absolutely delicious, not to mention the mouthwatering selection of cakes and tray bakes (caramel explosion cake, crunchy and caramel brownie, sticky toffee sponge) very very moreish.Just a couple of minutes off the A1 on a quiet road with plenty of on site parking, this is definitely a great pit stop location for anyone travelling north or south to treat themselves.Really enjoyed it, this will definitely be a regular haunt for us now.

We visited for lunch. A family of 9 and 2 dogs. This is our 3rd visit here in last two years and we all always look forward to coming back. The food, service, speed and value was excellent as always. Everyone was full to burst. We would highly recommend a visit but best to book a table. Our compliments to the team here 10/10.

Very nice cafe with friendly staff, good selection of food, pastries and drinks. Outside eating is available and good to have parking right outside. Will definitely call again.

Great value and extremely tasty breakfast. Everything was cooked to perfection and served hot and fresh. Staff were friendly and helpful and very welcoming. Nice seating area outside, once restrictions are lifted I'd imagine you can also eat in.Well worth a visit if you passing the area.
