The staff were very friendly, the food came fairly quickly and was delicious. The interior of the building is very nice, so were the toilets. The only reason I take one star off is that we couldn't get anyone to order desert and clear the table for a while but nothing too major and it was a busy Sunday Lunchtime. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Very disappointing. American style diner, a bit cramped even though it wasn't too busy. Not a great choice of food, flat white was just a weak Americano with milk, fish finger sandwich was the most American you can imagine (tasteless white bread, a bit of salad and oily fish batter). Will not be returning

Nice place, popular for food and ice cream, food usually really good. On this occasion the fish was over cooked as the edge of the cod was hard and chewy inside the batter. The waiting staff hard to get hold of, often not looking around and couldnt catch their attention. Ive had better experiences here, hopefully just a one off.

Very good experience and quality fish and chips and ice cream. Will be back soon.

I love Coastline, and rate it as the best fish and chips in the north east. However, I was gobsmacked at the cost of 2 x haddock and chips with mushy peas - £25.I do understand that we all have to pay for quality, and these are the absolute best. And I appreciate everything is going up cost wise, it just makes me less likely to go as often as we have done in the past. It'll have to become a real treat rather than an easy supper.

Fish (cod) was yummy as always, didn't get any peas after being asked if I wanted them! Portions are no longer as big as they once were although the prices are typical for a coastal area. Small 🍕 wasn't great and no kids menu was disappointing. Service wasn't the best and definitely not given with a smile!

Easy to find a parking space, and good for those with poor mobility. It's a popular chippy with a restaurant attached. The take out section has ample space as does the restaurant. The fish is nice and they serve proper chippy chips. There's easy access to the beach too.

This was my first visit to Coastline, as I was up seeing friends. Granted, it’s a long way to come (from London) to get fish & ships, but oh boy was it worth it.My meal was huge (it would have fed two), tasted amazing and was really appealing to the eye and my stomach!!My fish was fabulous, and as I dislike chips, opted for the sweet potato variety instead, which were delicious. Even the mushy peas tasted fabulous.Verdict. Absolutely excellent and with such friendly team too. Many congratulations to everyone, seen & unseen.I so wanted ice cream, but declined as I was so full!I’ve made a conscious decision that as of today I’m not eating fish & chips again, unless I come up to Blyth.Oh and paying £61.05 for four adults (drinks included), was well worth it!

Excellent place to visit. Staff are very friendly, helpful and have excellent customer service skills. It was very busy when we arrived, but were seated within a few minutes. The staff were rushed off their feet, but it didn't take long to get served. Food orders arrived within 15 minutes. Piping hot fresh food. Drinks were brought to the table straight away. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. During lunchtime in the school holidays, the staff did the customers and themselves proud! Please visit here. You'll be pleased you did.
