What a find this place is! We came down on holiday from Scotland to the area and decided to visit Bamburgh Castle , stopping at The Copper Kettle for lunch. What a lovely tearoom & restaurant this is. The food and service terrific. The staff are very hard working and popular with visitors. If we come back to Bamburgh this is where we'll definitely return for lunch. Thanks Holly, Nick and Mercedes at The Copper Kettle, Bamburgh. You run a wonderful tearoom and your food is fantastic. We stopped at this warm and inviting tea room to try and find somewhere to stay. The coffee was great and I can very honestly say that the ginger loaf and Victoria sponge cake were both delicious and very large and we enjoyed every mouthful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will visit again.

So thoroughly disappointed. Sat waiting to be served only to be ignored. Tables seated after us were served. Simply no excuse for poor customer service. Watch your tables, ensure you engage with customers or you risk reviews like this! Would not return. Would not recommend. Do better!

We only stopped for a coffee and to warm up so I can't comment on the food (apart from the scone 😋 mentioned below), although the people next to us ordered some and it looked great! As far as the coffee goes, it was very good and nice and hot (so many places can't get this simple thing right!) but not burnt...perfect!Special mention must go to the scone and cream we had, lovely and warm and very tasty! It's a lovely little teahouse and nice and warm and cosy. Reasonable prices too 👍 spot on.

The best Cornish Cream Tea I've had in a long time. Friendly staff, lovely outdoor seating area out the back. Definitely visiting again

Nice little coffee shop on the way to Bamburgh Castle. Outdoor seating available though limited. Great selection of home-made cakes and goodies. Nice coffee.

A lovely sandwich lunch sat in the courtyard that's accessed from the rear of the tea room. Excellent service and the server provided fresh drinking water for our two dogs

Lovely place to come for afternoon tea or lunch. They have an attractive outside seating area in the backyard with table service. Be warned, the scones with clotted cream and raspberry jam are extremely filling.

We rang the day before for lunch on Sunday and had a table in the courtyard out the back, the staff were so friendly and attentive. We had the seafood platter (minus the kipper pâté as they’d run out so gave us more of the others) and the kipper in a bun. The portions were very generous and all was tasty. The kipper was really good
