Foulis in Northumberland

Rotten tasted like toppings on a crumpet raw base very buttery must of had a full onion on there I got chicken Kiev the chicken was cut in squares not fresh chicken it’s packet , this pizza has actually give me a phobia of pizza, the garlic my least favourite part must of had half a tub of vinegar in there along with some bits of fish what’s dropped in of the fish n chips my god it was disgusting 🤢🤢

Granted i was walking back from the pub, but I had donner and chips, and the wife had sausage and chips as take-away. Food was nice and hot and we both enjoyed it. Seems the negative reviews on here just relate to long delivery times if ordered for delivery.We would certainly go back for take-away after a beer in town.

Pie and chips that went straight into a bin aka "fed to seagulls" as both were dehydrated and must of sat all day and most places would bin stuff like this not pass it off as acceptable food to customers even a local seagull could'nt stomach the pie and launched it.

We've used Foulis for a while now and always been happy with the food and the service until yesterday.Ordered our food at 6pm. I finally got it at 8.30!I rang the restaurant at 8pm to be told our order was the next one going out. I mentioned we'd been waiting 2hrs to be met with total silence...Food arrived 30 minutes later and on telling the driver we'd been waiting 2 1/2hrs I was told they were very busy and plenty other folks would be complaining...A simple apology from either people would have cost nothing but gone a long way.But to add insult to injury, my fish was very dry and the chicken nuggets were cold.I know it'll mean nothing to Foulis but that'll be the last time I use them. Felt like a total inconvenience to them rather then a loyal customer.

My partner and I took a trip to Berwick, can't go to the seaside and not have fish and chips.We had a fish in batter and one in breadcrumbs.Both freshly cooked absolutely delicious opted for a portion of chips between us. Pleased we only had one as the helping was very generous.Everything freshly made cooked to perfection.We will definitely return and would have no hesitation in recommending this place

Always used foulis and never had much complaint. However, last few times the chips are not cooked, just anaemic. and pizza dough seems undercooked as well and very top heavy it falls apart. One of the more expensive take aways in Berwick as well so don’t think it’s asking much for cooked chips, nobody likes raw ones. No complaints from other half on kebabs tho!

Cod was beautiful. Decent size portions too. Curry needed to be a richer flavour. Prices are a little steep. Loved it overall though

Ordered fish and chips, and they were utterly superb. Freshly cooked in front of you, and an enormous portion. The fish almost melted in your mouth. Honestly one of the best I have ever had. Strongly recommend.

Came in for some dinner after a long day. The portions were huge and the food came out quick. Very friendly waitress who brought local charm and a friendly face. We would definitely come again and try something else from their large menu.

Great what a clean well presented sit in area and staff very pleasant. Bet you can't finish a double cheeseburger and chips...awsome. Thanks guys...well enjoyed!
