The food was okay but not good. Overpriced for what you got. £25 for a steak, but to be honest no better than you would get from Wetherspoon’s. However the chips were nice. Staff attention wasn’t the best either. Wine served wasn’t even poured for you or asked to taste. Left underwhelmed

The food was lovely and wasn't very expensive.

The menu looked great. The food was average to poor. Sauce for mussels had no punch (didn't bother mopping it up with the bread), potato fondant was greasy, blue cheese bread pudding dry and underwhelming, not suitable for a main. Chocolate mousse was dense, bland and not freshly made. The bill was hefty - which would have been okay had the food lived up to our expectations. Sadly, we won't be going back. Shame because we had something poignant to celebrate and really wanted to splash out on a great meal.

Just had a beef sandwich and the good lady had a cray fish sandwich. She loved it but the steak was thin strips and very tough and cold.Mayo fest as well if you like that sort of thing.Place itself very nice.Just to finish, 24.00 pounds for the pleasure.Well over priced in my mind.

Some of the best food we have enjoyed when eating out. Recommended by locals we meet out walking

Excellent! Seafood sharer player is top notch. Lindisfarne burger very good. Service could be a bit better, we were there when it was really quiet but it felt like they forgot us at times.

We popped in while in Berwick for lunch. The food was good with good portion sizes, but could perhaps have been a little hotter. Really good size fish and chips. Only one star dropped as it's just missing a bit of atmosphere. Perhaps it is because it was lunchtime. Would definitely give it another try though.

Great restaurant with friendly staff. We had lunch there and the meat was a bit crisp for our liking, but the rest of the sandwiches and the side coleslaw was delicious.

Came back with 2nd night. Such a comfortable friendly place. Food was delicious and I may never be able to have sticky toffee pudding again without being disappointed.

Award winning restaurant, and for good reason! The food and service from here is absolutely exceptional. I’ve never had a bad meal or experience dining here!I usually have the pork dish and their way of cooking the pork is so melt-in-the-mouth it’s unreal! I highly recommend it!The skewers are also extremely delicious too! They have three different areas to dine/relax in, the restaurant being for sit down, more private meals, bar front, which is a little more casual and relaxed, for light bites and a few drinks, and their newer outside seating area where a picnic style table has a parasol and is lovely on a sunny day, but still comfortable to eat out.
