Absolutely gorgeous Sunday lunch .staff realy friendly

Saturday lunch in this lovely dog friendly pub owned by Joanna & Gary. Joanna was very friendly, helpful and happy to chat about the local area, Gary is the chef who produced a fabulous meal ...we both had 3 courses...delicious 😋 Would highly recommend The General Havelock.

Friendly staff and lovely extra touches. Lovely rivet views. Only one main veggie option which has been the same for years. Veggie pie option needed please! Also vegans need one option also.

Unfortunately, there was no meals being served the evening we tried but the barmaid and the locals where friendly, will phone a booking next time

The general havelock is a amazing place to have a beautifuly hand made meal. The food is to die for, I personally would eat there for every meal if I could. The staff are so kind and welcoming and always willing to help. If you have a chance to I definitely would suggest you go.

A bit dated decor wise but other than that a fantastic riverside pub with good crack and good beer.

Fantastic, quirky pub, which is much bigger than it looks from the outside and leads all the way back to the river. I was well looked-after and served chips past the closing time of the kitchen, which were proper and hand-cut. Guinness wasn't poured correctly (in one go) but the landlady friendly and accommodating. Could happily spend the day here.
