Glass House Cramlington in Northumberland

We called in before a night at the cinema. We didn't have much time and on request the server was very prompt in taking our drinks order and food order. Food arrived quickly and was really good. Portion sizes just right and very tasty. Staff very friendly and good atmosphere. This was our first visit since before covid. We will definitely return.

Beautiful food for steak night!!

Sat down for 12:35. Cutlery was dirty before even ordering food. Ordered drinks pop was flat. Partners glass was dirty. Ordered a starter to share. Food was amazing. But as soon as we finished our starter the mains had arrived. Overall was a fast and unrelaxed meal. We wont be returning, and we only went through recommendation. We left at 1pm. In and out within 25minutes.

This is a fantastic restaurant. There is a great menu choice and the Sunday carvery is delicious and pre- Covid, is self service where you can help yourself to as many vegetables as you want. I recommend the Spaghetti Bolognese and any type of pizza.

Quick bite here before cinema , which was quick we actually had time for more well we know for next time .The only thing was they tried to put us on a table for 2 that was not socially distant from other tables , not to make to much of a fuss I asked to move to the table for 4 next to it .First time having a pepperoni and I found the pepperoni on the salty side my fave is the tuna one but thought I would give it a try the lasagne I was informed was tasty as usual .Now just a little whinge , not a biggy . But it only takes a couple of staff to serve a table , we were asked if everything was okay before we even put a morsel in our mouths . 2 asked us if we wanted drinkers . 2 if we were okay , another day is handed menues out .While ago the staff were polite and I get the customer service thing , it was a bit of putting .If your coming to glass house , the do cocktails , entertainment on certain nights and a Kiev to die for.. renege to leave room for pud there is usually a great choice .

Covid distancing and mask wearing ok but neither the food nor service were great. Dishes varied between great and awful. Overcooked squid was rubber. Pizza was great. Chilli chicken was unseasoned and bland. Pasta and risotto were also bland. We waited 20 mins for desert menus without success. The waiting staff tried their best but were too few and far between. Not going back there.

Excellent service and food. Surprised how large this restaurant was. Mid week visit, was promptly greeted and seated with no reservation. Restaurant was busy, nice décor and had live music which was very good. Service was quick and food was served with little delay. All staff extremely polite and courteous. Food was excellent. Good selection of starters and main course "a la carte" with a separate special menu on offer. Went out for a quick bite that turned into a lovely 3 course meal. Recommended.

Lovely breakfast, plenty to choose from. Nice atmosphere. Will be returning 😍😍
