This place is amazing!! Gabriel, Cloe, Elliot and Willow made the meal experience so great. We spent the night in our camper I. Their parking lot. The folks was spectacular and the service was amazing. These people are the best.

Sunday Lunch Carvery. Was very busy, bar service a little slow but food was excellent, generous slices of meat and great choice of regularly refreshed veg. Reasonable price, good value for hungry humans.

Sunday lunch carvery was very nice. Very busy and they temporarily ran out of yorkshire puddings and roast potatoes, but these were promptly delivered to the table. Expensive drinks, but overall really enjoyable.

Very clean rooms, comfortable beds and desent pillows! tidy decor, nice touches (complimentary shampoo, hand-wash, tea n biscuits, nicely folded towels, iron, visitor book on Northumberland etc) lovey restaurant with good friendly service and food, love the fact it's dog friendly too, was nice to see well behaved doggies in the restaurant, breakfast was good too. Would certainly come back.

Sensational! Top quality food, excellent portion sizes, slightly slow service given the place was not busy but given the quality and standard, despite initial frustration, it was worth the wait! There's also a very powerful car charger across the road which charged my partners car from 20% to full in just under an hour!

Returning home to North Berwick on the A1 we stopped for coffee at The Hogs Head Inn. We were made to feel very welcome. It may only have been coffee and a sweet but the presentation and the service were excellent. Congratulations to your team.

Wasn't sure when we first drove up to it as it's situated next to a petrol garage and a McDonald's and on the edge of a small industrial estate but it was a really nice hotel with great food, good beers and really helpful staff with the added bonus it's dog friendly. The was plenty of space to take the dog for a walk, on or off the lead, in a field next to the hotel and inside when dining you just need to stay in one side of the restaurant if you have a dog with you.Good location for seeing the local area although some families seem to just it as a way point on bigger journeys which it seemed suited to as well.

We had Christmas day lunch and we were so disappointed. We go out most years for Christmas and this year we thought we would try the Hogs Head. Most places when we arrive we are offered a glass of prosecco or bucks fizz but nothing here. The starter and main course were OK but the cheese board was the worst I've ever seen , 3 wafer thin slices of cheese with some kind of biscuits that taste like cardboard .Try the cottage Inn at CrasterCheaper and so much better
