Good selection of bedding plants now in very good condition. Bit of a guessing game regarding pricing as many not priced. Wonderful views but sadly unable to try the cafe as a group of about 30 cyclists had descended unannounced all wanting refreshments.

Lovely rural setting not too far from Hexham. Nice views down towards the Tyne Valley. Small garden centre with real expertise in hanging baskets but the crown jewel is the tea rooms. Nice people, nice simple food, lovely views and social distancing compliant. More recently have added a outdoor covered seating area with space heater in case its wet or chilly.

Delicious cheese n onion pie. Not well sign posted from road/turning but worth a visit. All day brekkie is a smasher too!!

Over the years I've become a bit of a semi-regular at the café, which I think is great. There's nothing fancy about it - just excellent food and a really friendly set of ladies who run it. It's also in an excellent location if you're cycling so I'd thoroughly recommend popping in...

Not set up to be suitable for under 4s, no changing facilities, no toys and big portable electric fire in the middle of the room with no guard. Thankfully it wasn't on when we went or would have been difficult. Staff weren't very friendly but were quite busy, coffee wasn't great sorry. Not normally so negative and don't normally leave reviews but wasn't very impressed. The gardens are lovely.

Have known and used both the nursery and now cafe for years, the. Food is honest home cooked with a limited menu that allows the quality to shine through, I tend to be a bit of a glutton so will have two portions of quiche, any one as they are fab, if u really lucky, as I have been the quiche are just coming out of oven.Cakes varied and great.the views are fantastic and service is first rate.
