A fabulous find. Off the beaten track, but lovely snacks, cakes and drinks. Attentive and helpful staff. Useful shop for maps and local produce.

·

Walked along Ingram valley to this lovely cafe. Friendly staff and lovely garden to sit, eat and drink in. Next door to a small church.

·

Walked to Linhope Spout waterfall and stopped on way there for coffee and cake. On way back we arrived at 3:50pm and they had stopped serving food at 3:30pm but the very nice lady made us her last portion of very nice soup and a couple of coffee's. After a 12.5 mile walk it was much appreciated. Thank you.

Lovely place. Halfway point for our walk and had delicious lunch and cake here. They also have some gorgeous flowers for sale too. Would definitely recommend a visit.

·

Quaint little cafe lovely staff who have cakes, scones & naughty but nice food to tempt you with. Visit the infotainment room which has an interesting insight into "the valley" thousands of years ago. The Church ajacent to the cafe is also worth a visit.Still excellent & a place you must try.

More than a Cafe. Worth a Detour. Excellent Value! It may look out of the way unless you are walking or touring the Ingram Valley but we had such good reports that we made a detour from the Wooler road (A697). It was well worth it.Firstly, it is not only a cafe but also a 'gift' shop and a display of local history. It was too cool to sit outside but that looked like a nice option. We only fancied a snack until we saw the daily special - Venison Casserole for only £6.50 - so we stayed for lunch! It came either with bread or in a giant Yorkshire Pudding (see pic). I washed mine down with a proper (4% alcohol) Fentimans Ginger Beer while the girls explored the display and shop.
