KFC in Northumberland

An absolute DUMP! Rubbish everywhere to the point you couldn’t even sit down to eat. Staff were too busy arsing around with each other behind the counter to either serve or attempt to clean up! After we lost our rag and asked them if there was any danger of cleaning up the mess so we could sit down, the comedian behind the counter passed us a cloth! Basically KFC have hired the cast of stranger things to work the counter. When we eventually got around to eating our “food” I can honestly say that when we sprinkled my nans ashes last year - my chicken had been cremated more then what was left of her (and I reckon she would of tasted better). Avoid!

Dirty, sticky benches . Food that was advertised outside on a poster they didn't do ? In fact they didn't know what we were on about told them to look outside at there own poster.

I don’t normally complain as a hospitality worker myself but after my experience yesterday I had to mention something. We were waiting around 20 mins for a meal, no problem as we know what it’s like in the middle of a rush. We witnessed someone’s order be called out, them collect their food for them to come back saying it’s not what they ordered. They left the bag of food on the side for a good 8 minutes before we asked where our food was, they checked what we ordered then checked that SAME bag of food the man had brought back (he had touched the inside and the bag was also ripped) and was told that was our food and to take it despite us witnessing the man take it and bring it back. When we mentioned it had been brought back by another man and that our order number never got read out plus we wanted new food made we got eyes rolled at us, huffs and glares from the short blonde girl on the front. Multiple people around us said they had the same: wrong order or order number never read out and given cold food. It was around 28 minutes before we actually got our food and customer service skills from the shorter blonde girl was poor.

Absulutly disgusting place had to cover the bench with napkins to eat as they were dirty and sticky with dirt place needs sorting out and to top it of the toilet wasn't working

Scruffy.... sticky surfaces everywhere.Not much space since they put the order points in.Delivery drivers take up a lot of the limited space and delay in shop orders.

Hygiene rubbish staff seem more concerned with their own little lives get the impression it's hard work to save a customer

Not very clean, tables are always really sticky when you go. Not too much seating but can't be helped with it only being a little establishment. Food is nice.

They never clean up the place. Tables are always dirty and filled with past orders. Ik it must be tiring but still. Nowadays they always close in the mid afternoon with no warning on the website. Just wasted time coming here. I do not recommend.Although their food comes out relatively fast and you get value for your money. If you really want to take kfc when they close early. There is another kfc about a 15 min walk away. I have no experience with that one though.

Misunderstood the order. When asked, the staff were soo rude and negligent. They're so busy in talking to each other. When I just asked them to replace the wrong order their attitude was so bad and replaced my order recklessly without even putting the lid properly on the drink which is spilling all over as I've interrupted their chat and asked to replace the food properly as per my order. Can't even give 1 star to this restaurant. I would never recommend this KFC.

The foods okay, but the staff stand around doing nothing when it's not busy, the restaurant is always dirty, surfaces arent clean. It's Not nice walking in and seeing the mess, it puts you straight off your food. It's the 5th time I've been here and it's been in this state. Staff also stood around on phones, front counter where they serve customers is also dirty with dry pop stains everywhere. One typical women with blonde hair who has a extremely loud voice is intimidating. who stands and makes you feel uncomfortable walking about as if she ownes the place. Less talking more cleaning to make in sanitary. I had to walk out after ordering my food it was that disgusting. When all I wanted to do was eat it inside
