Fantastic service. I ordered Kipper fillets Monday, they were dispatched Tuesday & arrived Wednesday. Free delivery too so will definitely order again. We used to walk from Beadnell to Craster for the Kippers & they were certainly worth the walk. Absolutely delicious meaty kippers.

Delicious legendary kippers, we also loved the smoked haddock and smokef mackerel.

Checked on website that shop was open, got there at 1515 and lights on but shop closed. Caught attention of staff but waived away. Wasted journey !

These fish are absolutely second to none - we've cooked ours by grill for the most smokey, salty flavour, or by the traditional jugging for something softer and fishier. The kind of indulgence you want to make every day - and the customer service is second to none. Shipping was super fast, and the company went above and beyond to fulfil a silly little request (putting a 'gift note' from the pet cat in the parcel). I couldn't be more delighted, and will always be buying again!

Since I was a child this has been THE place to go for Kippers, albeit only once a year on holiday. This last time, in addition to getting a load of big strongly flavoured Craster Kippers, we also bought some of their hot smoked salmon, and we all agreed it was the best we have ever had.

Craster Kippers are the king of kippers, the daddy's, the originals, all others pale into insignificance - need I go on??Do not buy supermarket inferior products - get the best!Efficiently despatched and taste amazing!I will be back!Many thanks.

Popped in en-route to Scotland for a Kipper fix. Due to COVID-19 restriction there was a queue, but I was quite happy standing in the courtyard of this old establishment taking in the gorgeous smell of the sea air and burning woodchips while watching the wisps of smoke stream through the roof of the smoke house.The kipper shops covid precausions are on point. 2 people in at a time with masks. Hand sanitiser is provided at the door and you are welcomed by very friendly staff. Cant wait to get tucked into these bad boys 🦀🥪🐟♨️

I love the smell and taste of kippers, but a bad childhood experience with a fish bone makes me wretch when I encounter a fish bone in my food. If you're like me, fear not(!) filleted kippers are available at this fine establishment. #YipeeThe staff are also very friendly and the prices are good value for such a quality product.
