Langley Castle Restaurant in Northumberland

Had a fantastic weekend here. Staff were lovely and helpful. Food was amazing. The rooms were nice and clean. The castle it self was beautiful, and the views from the castle roof were breathtaking. Can't wait to go back

Had a lovely time here. Beautiful castle and suroundings. Stayed in the Coach house had peacock's ever morning visit us. Staff helpful and friendly. Would have given it 5 star but parts of the castle need to be cleaned. Cobwebs on windows and ceilings had not been cleaned for a long long time.

A fabulous experience. The castle and grounds are beautiful. Food was superb. Would've liked a full length mirror in the room but everything else surpassed my expectations.

Went for the star gazing break and had a fab time. Our courtyard accommodation was lovely and comfortable, staff are soooo friendly and helpful, they obviously take pride in working at the castle. We really enjoyed the tour, and the food was delicious

A thoroughly enjoyable meal at the castle. We booked rather spontaneously (glamping at Langley Dam nearby) to celebrate Valentine's Day. We have been accommodated very well and professionally, with instrumental covers of romantic songs played throughout the venue.We opted for Fine Dining set menu, which was excellent and delicious, including complimentary amuse bouche. The staff were prompt, proper and attentive as well, and have made us feel very comfortable and happy with the food.

just back from a 1 night stayvery nice hotel. our room was lovely room 11, was large and well laid out and very quiet, the hotel even provided a bed for the dog, though a bit small for our labrador but a really nice touchwe spent the evening in the drawing room for a meal and a few drinks, the food was lovely as was the service which we both agreed was excellent.....attentive but not intrusive just perfectalso the behind the front staff must do an excellent job keeping the food and drinks to a great standard........out of sight but they do a great job food was excellent and the room spotless.we took the tour in the morning which we found really good, the young lady was very informative and relaxedperfect stay and brilliant staff highly reccomended

Rooms available in the castle and olson in blocks away from the castle. We stayed in the rooms outside the castle. Lovely clean room and with plenty of space. The food was fresh with local produce. A castle tour is available every day, where you can walk the battlements, we really enjoyed this. Great base to explore the area. Well worth a visit.

Absolutely breathtaking castle set in beautifully kept surroundings. Sumptuous food and great service complete the experience! You can have a guided tour to learn the history of the building. One word of caution - lots of stairs might put off less mobile guests.

4.5* review. We have stayed in a few castle hotels at around the same price or higher and Langley was a very good hotel, just lacked a couple of service points to get a full 5*. We stayed in one of the castle rooms for 2 nights. The castle itself is a special place to stay, lovely building and grounds. The evening meals were superb as were all the waiting staff. Breakfast was hearty and had some lovely sausages. Our only disappointments were the bar / lounge area not being permanently staffed so if you fancied a drink in the afternoon you could be waiting some time for a member of staff to arrive and on the first night we had room service (which was fab) and the next morning the cleaners removed the tray from our room and put it in the hallway, it was still there when we went for dinner the following evening so we had to request at reception that it was moved. Apart from that would highly recommend.

The service and experience was better than expected. Magical surroundings and atmosphere.Staff are well mannered and hard working nothing is too much trouble. The rooms have everything you need and are clean and comfortable. The food in the pavilion and fine dining restaurants is of best quality and presentation is fabulous. A fine dining experience you will remember for the freshness, taste and service. The grounds of the castle are well kept and great for a walk before breakfast or lunch. Housekeeping is very professional our rooms were to my high standard.
