I had a salad with jacket potato, cheese and ham. Everything was good quality, fresh and the salad was varied (e.g. red and green peppers, grated carrot). I thought the amount quite substantial for the price, as well. Friendly, efficient service despite the heat. Worth a review - thank you!

Fab fruit scone with jam and clotted cream, partner had an open crab sandwich with salad and crisps which he enjoyed the tea was nice a lovely location great pictures inside and nice staff

Very fresh crab sandwiches with lots of white meat! Good place to grab a light lunch - or maybe not so light if you also have one of the selection of tasty cakes! We stopped here for lunch after a boat tour, which are only a few yards away so it was very convenient.

the food is really tasty, and there's a good selection of more unusual panini and sandwich fillings than your average ham or tuna or cheese. the lemon drizzle is absolutely delicious too. Service was great, but the till is a bit awkward because the inside is so small you have to hover in the way of the kitchen entrance while you wait for your food. It's unlikely you'll get a seat inside if the weather is bad as there are only a handful of tables, but there is lots of outdoor seating nearby overlooking the river so weather permitting I'm always very happy to take my food to a bench and enjoy the view!

Sat outside and ordered coffee and the special of the day which was an open crab sandwich. The crab sandwich was excellent; nicely presented and very tasty and the coffee was so nice that we stopped and had another one after a look around the town. Would totally recommend.

We enjoyed our prawn and crab dishes very much. Friendly and efficient service. Popular with locals.

Hot coffee and beautiful banana and blueberry cake. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Even the dog enjoyed himself. Cake was that good I forgot to take a picture

The staff are so nice and welcoming. We came from East Linton for a crab sandwich for my mum on her birthday and it did not disappoint.the other items were also delicious. Hot rolls with the soup too! They have an insane selection of wonderful-looking cakes too. And good coffee!

My partner and I called in for lunch for the first time at Lowry's. The service was warm and friendly but the food was lacking somewhat. The panini's were soft and the salad was tiny, certainly not worth what we paid. Also the place was lacking atmosphere even though it was busy. We won't be going back here. Disappointed.😔

Friendly cafe by the bridge. Good and tasty selection of cakes and sandwiches for decent price. Great to sit outside on sunny day.
