Milan Restaurant in Northumberland

Second time at Milan last night was as good as the first time. Food and service were excellent.Pork belly bon bons and Salmon were delicious,hubby had meatballs and Glendale chicken. Wine and cocktails were a good too.Staff and service were excellent even through the restaurant were running behind with tables, this did not effect the standard of the food or service.Thank you for a lovely evening

Second visit to the Milan. Staff are so friendly and professional, nothing to much trouble. We have eaten at quite Afew Italian restaurants across the country, they don't come anywhere near to the quality of the food served and presented here. Would have no doubt in recommending the Milan to anyone want g beautiful food at a very affordable price. Well done everyone at the Milan. Keep up the excellent work.

What a gem of a place. Everything was perfect. The food, the service, and the staff. We stopped in Bamborough for the weekend and had booked it before we set off. I had misjudged the distance to the restaurant and had thoughts about cancelling, but I was so glad we didn't. I can't recommend it enough. Great owners run a great restaurant

Excellent food, staff was really soft spoken ... Must try verdure pizza (vegetarian pizza) must try french onion soup (soup of the day) really loved it l. Will definitely visit again when I am around there

Absolutely fabulous night. Great food, good prices, really good service with super friendly staff. The special board was amazing, and the kids portions was generous.Our B &B recommended we book this, and glad we did. Exceeded our expectations. Great local beer too. Always great food, lovely staff & great service. Been many times & we have never been disappointed. Hidden gem in Wooler which you could pass without noticing as it is tucked away behind a couple of pubs. Not the best lead up to the restaurant from the high street as outside of the pubs aren't great, but don't let this put you off. Definitely worth going, but you really have to book as it is always busy.

Served by the owner and she was engaging, welcoming and knowledgeable. Restaurant was spotlessly clean, a real effort had been made to get local beers and the environment was laid-back and informal. Food was also marvellous, a large calzone that was reasonably priced and an interesting Limoncello dessert. Would definitely come back.

Excellent. Staff all great. Good food at a good price. One of the best Steaks I've had in years. Tiger Pawn starter also great. Proper hidden gem, reluctant to leave this positive review as so difficult to get booked in as it is. Looking forward to my next visit.
