Different name, is now called The Mockingbird Deli. Delightful, quirky caff with great decor - musical instruments and old sports items etc, see the pix. Lovely friendly staff. Dog friendly. Tis only a small place but does have outdoor seating to the front on the pavement. Parking wise, you can park on the high street for up to 3 hours free. You don't get many free car parks these days! You still have to go and get a ticket from the machine, putting in your car registration, but you don't pay. Soooo Mockingbird, bit cramped inside but has wonderful decor and compact deli with items for sale displayed on surrounding shelving. And the chocolate and orange cake is fabulous, really light, fluffy, not heavy and just so tasty. They do live music too but when I visited the soundtrack was "vintage" with Bryan Ferry thrown in. Good muso. I shall definitely revisit and highly recommend this lovely café.

Very nice little cafe. Lovely food, especially the little Italian pastries. Been previously and will definitely go again.

Really nice place been there a couple of times for breakfast. Staff a really friendly I wanted to go back on a Friday when I got some live music for few drinks

A lovely place to have lunch! We sat on the stools looking out onto the street and watching the worlds go by! Plenty of choices and great coffees! It’s dog friendly with a water bowl outside!

Cafe itself was nice. I didn’t realise it was dog friendly until we ordered. My son has allergies. One dog had its butt in the crisp baskets which they keep on the floor and it was allowed to wander around the cafe. Great for dog owners but not for the people who don’t like a serving of dog hair with their order. Didn’t find it very hygienic. Sorry!

A lovely, cosy cafe with lots of options for herbal tea and tasty paninis!

Amazing ambience, some of the nicest people I've ever met as their staff. Stunning coffee and the best tuna melts you ever will find in the world. I cant recommend this place enough, It must be on everyones bucket list.
