Neptune Fish Restaurant in Northumberland

Splendid fish and chips. Good portions, the fish were cooked beautifully, and the chips were surprisingly good too.There is a decent kids menu too, and considering the number of families having dinner around 1700, clearly a popular place.Perhaps a bit pricey, I suppose F&C by the seaside comes with a premium :)

Messaged Neptune's to ask if their chips were vegan, cooked separately in oil...they replied back immediately and said yes as were the mushy peas. I visited today for lunch with my husband and the chips and mushy peas were bang on delicious. Service was excellent too really friendly. Would definitely revisit.

I visited the restaurant and found it very welcoming and clean. The staff were helpful. I had cod and chips and a pot of tea and it was a generous portion beautifully cooked. Light and crispy batter that had the perfect crunch factor. I would definitely go back here.

As someone who suffers with a serious nut allergy, it was so refreshing to be told with confidence they could accommodate my dietary requirements. Our waitress was confident in telling me at the point of ordering that my choices were safe. Our food was served promptly and was lovely. Would 100% return and recommend.

Some of the best fish and chips I have ever tasted. staff couldn't have been nicer, as well. Would give 10 stars if I could.

Fantastic Fish and Chips. Perfectly cooked selection of Cod, Haddock, Plaice and other options. Non greasy with amazing taste.Apart from being one of the best Fish and Chips in the area,the staff are really excellent. They are attentive will accommodate to requests. I don't often give out 5 stars but this place highly deserves it. So if in doubt where to eat try this restaurant as it won't disappoint. Bread and butter served as standard.

Neptune Fish Restaurant does some great fish and chips. We ate in late in the day and had freshly cooked sausage fish and chips. We were welcomed and well looked after by the helpful friendly staff. If you're looking for great fish and chips by the seaside then Neptune Fish Restaurant is well worth a visit.

Ate here on Saturday .4 adults and 1 child , food was very good and clearly cooked to order.I could of done with a few more chips but what I had was excellent.

Neptunes is fantastic.We were a party of 6 with a wheelchair user and it didn't phase the staff at all, they were so very helpful, friendly and accommodating.The food was delicious, the fish is massive, even the lite bite is as big as most fish and chip shops normal offering.Well worth a visit if you're in the area.
