Only stayed there for one night but we were left disappointed. This property did not have wifi even though it was advertised that it provides wifi, room was full of dusts, we could not close the window so my partner went downstairs to ask if someone could close it as it was cold in the room. after waiting for over an hour I went to check myself what was going on thankfully we were placed in another room...but again there was no wifi so I had buy myself to spend another £20 on top of what we already paid with no decent customer service. We were promised a refund however upon checking out there was no manager present (how convenient again..) so I left my phone number for the manager (Heidi, blond girl) to ring me back.. which I am still waiting... and I will probably never receive.. please do yourself a favour and avoid this hotel.

Great selection of quality draught beers, all the high quality brews and the Sunday lunches are just too die for.Carvery style, good selection of meats, and veg, and lovely thick gravy.Highly recommended and very much worth a visit.Newly reopened and gradually expanding the menu, so far I can't fault it.

Our room was very clean near the back of the Hotel. Very comfortable bed and clean and soft sheets, shower worked well plenty of hot water. Friendly staff talked to us all the time, large hotel dog, so dog friendly. Tried the tapas, 3 tapas each plus side dishes, very filling, tasty. Breakfast was ordered night before and was served by waitress, lovely and well cooked.Overall had a very good stay. Would recommend, decoration interesting in the reception and Bar.

Not sure what it's like to stay but, the tapas were really nice, and the service was good too. The restaurant room had a nice ambience, though there seemed to be no dress code. The cakes looked amazing but in reality had probably been in the case slightly longer than you'd like. The staff made a mistake with my bill but noticed quicker than I did and couldn't do enough to apologise and sort it out. Lovely experience

Awesome stay! Been loads of time and never let down... nice friendly staff (and dog... bless him hes lush) will return again soon. It's the kind of place you want to support to make sure it survives the pressures covid has put on the country... go on... book up. It's worth it for the breakfast alone... thanks bill (and Sam)

We were looking for somewhere to eat and came across No1. It was a wonderful little hotel, bar/restaurant in the centre of Wooler. The bar food was just fantastic. I had a chicken/ham & leek pie with fresh vegetables. I could not fault it. The pie was homemade and was full of big chunks of chicken and ham, the vegetables cooked to perfection. The other meal we ordered was the 8oz Angus beef burger, with french fries and a lovely salad, again, no complaints, a great burger! We highly recommend this venue, great food, and friendly staff. Very good portions and value for money.

Do not arrive before 2pm because you will find the hotel locked. We eventually found the carpark and entrance at the rear and then spent over half an hour wandering around inside trying to find someone! The owner eventually arrived at the same time as the receptionist/ waitress at 2pm!!I have never been to a hotel where staff don't start work until check-in at 2pm, very weird. Otherwise, it was just ok but a good breakfast.

눀 – There was nothing about this hotel not to like. Every single thing was fantastic!! Our room was absolutely beautiful and immaculate. The breakfast was by far the best I've had in a hotel. We went into the restaurant last night for tapas and was not disappointed. The decor in the restaurant was beautiful as was the rooms.. lots of twinkly lights which made it so romantic. And last but by no means least the staff.. Bill the owner is a proper gentleman and so lovely but every single one of them were so attentive and nothing at all was a problem to them.. if you wanted it you got it!! If you want to treat your partner to a romantic break this is the hotel to do it in.. highly recommended.

Great service, really friendly and really tasty tapas!I've been here a few times and it hasn't disappointed. The tables look a little tired, maybe need some table cloths but don't let it put you off. It's really super duper. As with most places in Northumberland, dog friendly too.

This hotel is amazing! The room we had was very spacious and comfortable. The beds were comfortable as well. So lovely we didn't even want to leave. The bathroom was of a high quality. We didn't have the tapas on the evening but we did have the breakfast, and it was so tasty and wonderful. It was even sourced from local butchers and farms. I cannot say one bad thing about this hotel. I will definitely be booking here again next time I'm up this way. Great value and amazing service for your money. Cannot recommend this place enough.
