Number 23 in Northumberland

Had a great meal. I ordered a panini (brie & bacon & cranberry). Very hot, tasty and plenty to fill me up. It came with a nice fresh salad. Love this place!

We enjoyed a lovely lunch today, on a cold and windy day, after walking from Alnwick. I had macaroni cheese and hubby had a Brie, cranberry and bacon panini, each served with a small salad of greens, cucumber, tomato and red onion. I had a fruit scone with jam and whipped cream for my sweet while hubby had apple crumble with ice cream. Arriving at 11 meant no waiting. Service was excellent and food delicious.

Lovely waitresswho looked after us so well. Sadly, she was so busy that there was a mix up over our cake order. She got shouted at be the owner. Not a nice thing to do in semi public. It wasn't her fault and she was working so hard. That said, we certainly will return.

Lovely gem after a windy morning exploring! Was not disappointed, food was top tier and reasonably priced too! Highly recommend

We went following recommendation and not disappointed. Nice setting, attentive and friendly staff with superb food. We had beef & fish as main & well presented & lovely food. The ravioli & cheese tart to start were also great. It was also great value. Would definitely recommend and will happily revisit. Thank you for a lovely evening

We popped into Bistro 23 for a wee lunch and it was excellent!! I had the macaroni cheese with bacon, which was top notch and piping hot. C had the mushrooms on sourdough where were also great. Both dishes were accompanied with a tasty side salad. The staff were friendly and efficient. All in all, a fantastic lunch at a great price. We would highly recommend Bistro 23

Excellent good. Very helpful staff, Lily was brilliant 👌Couldn't fault anything. If only I loved closer I'd be using it every week.

Good menu, sensibly priced, all tasted good. Sat outside with our dog which was very pleasant. Attentive staff too. All good, recommended.

Just fabulous. Always a high point on holiday when we eat here and it didnt disappoint. The staff are wonderful and just love the ambience
