Gift shop where you can buy great souvenirs such as “hand broken fudge”(as opposed to being chopped by a knife?) and “Holy Island cookbook” filled with irrelevant recipes and probably made in Microsoft word.

My partner and and I were very put off by the attitude of the girl serving yesterday. It was as if though our turning up had pulled away from more important things in her life, such as talking about a recent breakup. I even asked "Everything OK?" and I just received a half moan/half grunt back. Clearly we were impeding on her precious time, and so we left and found another local cafe (Pilgrim's Cafe) where the staff didn't make us feel awkward. Good grief!

Bit of a disappointment. The breakfast wasn't great quality but the worst thing was the tea.We got a pot of tea for two and instead of one large pot we got two standard pots. After drinking the first we found the second only had water in it, no tea bags. When we told the staff they said it's meant to be like that, and you take the used tea bag out the first pot and put it in the second pot of what is now luke warm water. It was the weakest tea I've ever tasted. How cheap is that to make you reuse teabags. And they could at least say so you don't realise once the water is no longer hot.

Lovely wee coffee shop on the island which also sells gifts. They are following all the Covid regs including asking us to registered our visit. We had time for drinks and tray bakes/cake for £16. Shame we didn't have time before the tide came in. 👍

Very disappointed with the 1 souvenir I bought. A lovely little ship in a bottle which when I came to open it once I had left the island, it was broken with no sign of any broken glass in the wrapping. Hindsight....check before you leave.

The owners should hold their heads high.Very clean with very helpful staff .And the one place on the Island not hell bent on ripping tourists off.See looked at lots of shops and expected the worst when stoppimg to eat and drink but no!!!!Probably the best prices we have seen for a long time. Well done.

First ever time I've been to Lindisfarne. After being stuck for an extended period in May Bank Holiday traffic, we arrived just after lunch so looked around for some home-cooked food.Although all of the Pubs looked tempting after the long hot drive, the seafood on offer didn't do it for me (I don't like seafood - nothing against the pubs). We looked in at the 'Island Oasis Coffee Shop' as they offered pretty much everything you could possibly want after a journey...Meat pies, sausage rolls, salads, toasties, ciabatas, baked potatos, etc...All fairly priced, unlike some places I've been, and service with a smile...There was a bit of delay with the food (to be expected on Bank Holiday Monday) and I mistakenly took someone else's order (which I insisted on paying for although we were told 'no charge'), but when it arrived it was cooked to perfection.I highly recommend this place.Great food.Lovely friendly people. There's also a small gift shop inside, too.Top marks. Will definitely go again when I'm in the area.

Nice coffee shop also serving snacks for light lunches. Staff are friendly and helpful. The toilets are immaculate, either they had a deep clean before we visited or they are always like that, either way never seen cleaner public toilets in my life.

Mean spirited and rude staff. Told a group of nuns they couldn't open a pack of hula-hoops in the café 5 minutes before closing, and when they asked to buy food, told them they were closing (their closing time is completely random and dependent on tides apparently). The nuns had already spent £40 on rubbish drinks and gifts anyway - terrible business practices. Go to the Pilgrims cafe, their staff are lovely and their coffee doesn't come from an awful machine.

Good portion sizes at good prices. Brought my teens here for lunch and they were happy. Jacket potato with prawn mayo and they didn't skimp on the prawns like many places. Fabulous range of cakes, very tasty too!
