Echoing other reviews, disappointing in that it is not a farm shop and the opening times are also incorrect. It closes at 3pm, I've tried to edit so noone else makes the trip and is disappointed. It could do with a good clean but was pleased to see a nice array of preserves and biscuits. I hear the jam I gifted was nice and we found the meringues nice. The cheese scones had no taste, fruit stones ok but were nice and fresh. The spice biscuits were ok. The ginger biscuits OK but the shortbread was excellent. This bought our rating up! Was surprised you couldn't but less than a whole bag of biscuits and no samples or loose biscuits that you could try. The sever wasn't very clued up either when questioned about the products. Would pop if if passing just for the shortbread.

First of all not a farm shop per se , but more a tearoom. Having visited two very good Farm Shops on the A66, Northern A1 Northumberland cries out for a decent farm shop/cafe and unfortunately this isn't it. I felt obligated to buy at least something and I'm sure the owners do their best but investment needed to reach potential.A little imagination and it could be cracking.

A pleasant and comfortable stop. The tearoom is quite run down but the food was great value for money. We really enjoyed the ‘Oxford Tea’ and cheese scones! The place needs some TLC but it was a nice stop.

Not nice. Away from home and missing homemade cake, was really excited to see a cabinet of baked delights but that's where it ends . Brought a large chocolate cake and some biscuits. The cake was dry and tasteless with grainy icing and the biscuits also dry and over cooked. The whole lot went in the bin. I'll bring my own next time

This is a strange place to visit, not a huge attraction as such, but a little shop with some nice gifts and another part with delicious jams and chutneys, cakes and biscuits, you just have to buy! Never stopped to try the tearooms, one day we will !

Probably a pleasant, if a little run down, little tea room and cake shop. But this is not a farm shop. Sells cakes, meringue, honey from the chain bridge honey farm, and jams. Does NOT sell any Vegetables, meat or dairy.

Best described as maybe a bit twee but we all love it. Its all super fresh - Best meringue's and scones and the shop sells really good jam and pickles. Well worth a visit.

Very nice quiet little tea room , limited menu but very tasty . Added bonus of a farm shop and PYO strawberry and raspberry fields.

Lovely farm cafe serving lunch, snacks and cakes etc. We had the tearoom platter which is a scone, a slice of lemon drizzle cake and a tea/coffee for only £3.65. The food and coffee were tasty and the atmosphere was nice. We’d definitely come here again

Small out the way farm shop. I was there as a Brit Stop user and found it some what lacking in facilities for this need plus parking wasn't set out properly. As a Farm Shop it was in a lovely location and seemed to be set out neatly. The hostess was polite and we felt welcome, work needed for the Brit Stop part. But no means avoid, you will get a rest and be welcome
