Won't be returning. Food was ok but the service was awful.

Great service, put us at our ease and decent portion size and delicate flavourings in the starters and mains.Will be back!

I think by Newcastle standards this is a good restaurant looking at all the other reviews but this place was very very bland.It's like the further up north you go in the UK people's tolerance of spice gets dulled out and restaurants cook with less spice and Indian flare.I spoke to the waiter in Bengali and he responded in Bengali but he was so embarrassed to speak Bengali like he was ashamed of his culture and background. I hope next time he will embrace who he is. There's no hiding you are not white English just embrace the diversity and don't be ashamed of your culture. It made me sad that he was so awkward about speaking bengali but I continued to speak bengali just to make things more awkward.Food was terrible meat was so rough and chewy, I'm questioning if it was halal or not as I can taste the difference and tell by texture when an animal suffers stress and strain before execution the meat I had with my lamb curry was very chewy and rubbery and tough. Either it was old meat or non halal meat.Food presentation and service was very fast and looked good.Other than that the food was very mediocre.

I am yet to find a better Indian restuarant. Luckily I live locally so my girlfriend and I come regularly and try different dishes everytime and without fail all of them have been exceptional. The service is very fast and the staff couldn't be nicer. Takeaway is always good but there is nothing better than sitting in and having the food fresh. Couldn't recommend this place enough.

Ponteland TandooriThe food as usual was great.But they mustn't gave paid the gas bill as it was freezing cold.I kept my coat on all night.Which is a shame as I really like the place

Can't comment on the food, I gave up waiting. Ordered online and collection time was 20.21! I was still stood there at 20.45, with virtually no staff interaction. Just glad I had the pay on collection option.

Absolutely beautiful food. We absolutely love it here. Best curry by far I've had (and family members from around the UK). The naan bread is exceptional just beautiful.
