Pot a Doodle Do Restaurant in Northumberland

We stayed here over the jubilee weekend. The deluxe pods were awesome, clean, spacious, everything we needed. We came with friends so had two pods side by side. We loved the place, great for kids (go karts are a nice touch). Excellent location for visiting surrounding areas. BBQ hut was great. Great staff, location, facilities. We will be back. Thanks.

Great! We came for two nights and will be back for longer! Wigwams so warm and cosy, staff great and facilities clean! Our first visit and will definitely be Wigwam-ing again before we bother hauling out the tent! I slept better here than I do at home! Great location too excellent base for adventures!

Just back from a 3 night stay with hubby. Loved it! Accommodation is charming. Shower block and kitchen spotlessly clean. Fantastic beaches a short walk away. Dog friendly covered (and heated!) restaurant area. Food was delicious. I can highly recommend the vegetarian breakfast and the ploughman's platter. Nice little shop that sells kids toys, local produce and a few essentials. All the staff were lovely and went the extra mile to make sure we had a pleasant stay. The only issue we had was a lack of hot water on the first morning, but they started on a fix as soon as I reported it so I can't fault them there either. Will definitely be back..

For what you pay it's really not too bad. The wigwams are surprisingly spacious and ours was nice and clean, not a hint of dust or cobwebs. The only issue is the lack of weather proofing on the door, by the time we arrived it was late so no staff about to speak to about it and by the next day we'd gotten settled in and didn't fancy having to lug everything around. Ordinarily I wouldn't mind the cm gap as we plugged it with tissue, but when you're expected to pay for electricity to use the heater and then have at least a cm gap all along the bottom of the door letting the cold air in - not great.Facilities are basic, but it isn't a hotel it's exactly what you'd expect, shared kitchen with microwaves etc. Shower blocks cold - really cold, but it's April so that's to be expected. All in all I would stay again, just could do with weather proofing on the wigwam doors.

It's a great place to be with the kids. Been here 3 times now and we all lived it. Great memories made here

Arrived early but got our keys right away restaurant and café good but only downside they both close at 16.00

Lovely, quiet place, a 5 minute drive or 30 minute walk from the beach. The yurt that we stayed in was clean and basic but warm and contained a fridge and heater. The toilets and showers were a few minutes walk away. The breakfasts which we had were amazing. We will probably stay here again as it's dog friendly, and a good place to stay.

After 5 miles of walking along the coast, this was a great find. Sat outside in the sunshine, friendly staff. Great value for money, freshly cooked food. Had chicken and ham carbonara and the border tart which was amazing, as was their coffee. Highly recommended

Good value for money .Lovely location , clean and with basic amenities. Ordering wood for the fire pit is a great idea . Most of the staff were really friendly and the restaurant was ok . It’s a pity it closed at 5pm in peak season . If you want to get away on a budget in a good location - I would recommend . It also felt safe for kids to play outside .

Brilliant site, clean and well organised never any issues with noise etc on our two visits now. Good on site shop and restaurant... Dog friendly but can't take dog into restaurant or shop. Great location short drive to shops if you need them, close to some good walks and great beaches.
