Red Lion in Northumberland

I love Alnmouth and love staying at The Red Lion. It has everything. Comfy rooms, great food, good choice of beers, and above all else a fabulous welcoming atmosphere. The breakfasts are amazing too.

What a fantastic pub. Lots of character and friendly staff. Great choice of well kept beers. We stayed in Alnmouth for a week and ended up going in every day for a few pints. We ate there one night and the food was excellent.

Great little quaint pub, small lunch time menu was not a problem as our party of 6 all agreed the food was brilliant, quality and quantity wise. Would definitely go there again when in the area

Great pub, was really disappointed with the food. Presentation wasn't great, paid extra for parmesan chips which was not worth it, burger was very under cooked and soggy. Great staff and atmosphere though.

Best steak and ale pie I've had for a long time. Very cosy with friendly staff. A great place for a relaxed drink and meal.

Lovely new looking, clean and well appointed rooms in the same building as the pub. Breakfast was good too and in a separate room within the pub with plenty of choice. Georgie and her staff were all very nice and the bar is really nice too.

Great little pub, good selection of beers and a really nice lunchtime menu. Dog friendly, too!

Offered us a room at short notice when our original booking fell through. A lovely, clean place with excellent customer service. Affordable and functional in a historic space with modern, cozy feel. Would definitely come back here. Couldn't recommend more!
