Amazing in every way! Over the course of our holiday we managed to call in twice, once for a picnic to go and once for breakfast… both impeccable and cannot recommend highly enough. Quiche to die for and cakes out of this world. Such friendly service and very dog friendly.

Thank you so much Riverside kitchen for the very best cooked ham and also sausage and onion quiche for our Christmas order. Honestly they were amazing and delicious, much better than I could ever possibly do and made life a whole lot easier too!! I'll definitely be ordering from you again.

Escorted an elderly gentleman with dementia on a wintry northumberland day.Service was courteous and prompt.Menu varied but not laboured with most items being produces on site.We opted for the pies , one mince the other bacon and egg.Both substantial, the pastry was well made and the ingredients well balanced.Parking and access good.

Very good, lovely raspberry crumble and a nice latte. Took home a piece of bacon and egg pie and it was beautiful.

Really lovely cafe. One of the best children's lunch deals I've ordered with beautiful homemade bloomer and half a tray bake. My jacket potato was really good and the custard cream tray bake was amazing. Would highly recommend.

Lovely little coffee shop with friendly and helpful staff, just what you need when travelling the area.

Nice place and friendly staff. We were slightly confused about the naming (Riverside Kitchen/ Riverside Tearooms). We had a late lunch after a long walk. The grilled bloomer with goat cheese and beetroot was great, the potato soup was okay but I have had better. The latte was also medioka. Overall lovely place and some tweaks could make it perfect. I will come back another time.

Brightness on a gloomy day.Doesn’t look much from the outside. But inside this place is awesome.I regretted having had breakfast before visiting as the sausage rolls and quiche looked delicious. I had food envy !Coffee cake was delicious.I recommend a visit.
