Warm welcome for our party of four and our collie. The coffee was worth waiting for and we would recommend anyone to visit here. When we are back in the area we will not want to miss returning here. Thank you.

This is truly a gem of a place. I found it quite by chance when searching Google for a coffee stop. The food is first class and is sourced locally. It is cooked using fresh ingredients, so do allow a little more time during busy periods. The owner and staff are all very friendly and make you feel welcome. This is a dog friendly cafe and is much bigger than it first appears. There is an additional outside seating area on the lawn weather permitting. Well worth a visit.

I found this cafe on a Google search and so glad that I did. We just needed a stopping place on a long journey and had coffee and cakes which were beautiful. The cafe has plenty of seating indoor and out, a great welcome from Andrew and pleasant staff. The place is dog friendly and Andrews 3 Collies are making the most of all the space. It was so good we returned 2 days later and will be returning soon for a breakfast

Really enjoyed going here. Found it by a chance Google search for breakfast and I am so glad. The owner Andrew was lovely, super welcoming and chatty and showed us all round his surprisingly big cafe. The food was high quality and all made from local produce. I enjoyed the breakfast, pot of tea and some cake. Two lovely collie dogs are there which adds to the atmosphere. If you don’t like dogs this is something to be aware of.I look forward to getting to go again

On a recent trip to the area, I stopped here for lunch with my wife, baby, mother and father in law, after reading reviews on TripAdvisor.I had the ploughman's lunch (photo attached), others had an omelette, quiche, and a jacket potato with tuna. We also had tea, coffee and fruit scones with clotted cream and jam.All of the food was absolutely delicious, all locally sourced products from nearby farms, bakeries and suppliers. The service was excellent too, all of the staff were very friendly and it had a lovely welcoming, family atmosphere. Big thanks in particular to Linda, Andrew and Daniel.Andrew has 2 lovely friendly collie dogs, Tess and Sam, who welcome guestsYou have the choice of sitting indoors or outdoors. The outdoor space has some amazing wood carvings, the indoor space some beautiful antique rocking horses. We were delighted we found this place, one of the best lunches we've had on a long time, well worth every penny!

Andrews little gem is a wonderful place to stop for a chat, advice on dog behaviour or the most delicious food. The place is extremely dog friendly, didn't want to come away. Highly recommend and will visit again next time in Northumberland
