Rose & Crown in Northumberland

Nice little pub. Drive past loads during lockdown so glad to finally go past when it's open! Lovely place, nice staff

Today was my first visit to the rose and crown, I'll definitely be back. We were greeted with a very warm welcome. Lovely staff, delicious food.

Last minute booked for double room which was lovely n clean, the bed was amazing,(I have a bad back) was able to sleep thru with barely any pain.staff very friendly great atmosphere, will definitely be going back

Lovely welcome when we arrived. Food was really nice and warm. The plates were warm which I love!

We had an amazing afternoon. Dog friendly in the bar area. We didnt stay for food but the menu was substantial and plates looked plentiful.

Lovely community-run pub and home-cooked food. We had the steak pie and chips and the fish and chips, both of which were delicious and fresh, both of us particularly liked the chips.

When this pub was going to be closed down the people of Slaley and surrounding areas bought the pub and turned it in to a community owned pub. I think this shows how much people care about this place and that same care goes into the amazing service from the staff and into the amazing food that comes from the kitchen. This is the kind of place you can turn up by yourself but you will not be alone. Highly recommended for adults and children as there's a garden in the back with a kids playground. I can't recommend this place enough! 🙂

Lovely community run pub, friendly staff. Quality service and wholesome food. Been a few times never disappointed. Look forward to our next visit.
