Just experienced the most farcical hour of sitting waiting and watching others being served their breakfasts before the six of us, even though we were one of the first through the door this morning.....apparently they were busy, but in my idiotic world isn't this what they do.....I cannot comment on the quality of food as I left after the hour of sitting and waiting, but I can say the service was the worst I've ever experienced and trust me Im not a serial moaner but this has left us so angry and then to add insult to the situation they were going to overcharge my father........Unbelievable

Arrived for breakfast, 1 hour later still waiting , definitely not worth the wait, terrible service by non interested staff

The pervading smell of old chip fat was definitely off-putting as was the dodgy metal -ish music being played when we visited in search of a sit down and a snack. The teeniest ever teapot reluctantly dribbled out two cups of tea into the equally tiny cup. But the cheese scone was to die for. Perfect size and temperature. A dream!

Food was ok but the chip pan smell lingers everywhere. No atmosphere as it felt like a staff canteen.Staff slow to respond as it felt they were hiding out the back. Top tip to the cafe, install an extractor fan in your kitchen and make it an interesting place to eat/ drink

Towards the end of the afternoon so fewer people around. Service was friendly and the tea cake was of epic proportions. Coffee came in a rather ordinary mug but was good. Enjoyable informal pit stop.

Nice little place for breakfast. The full English was low key but tasty and the lemon sponge was huge and very very tasty! The service was pretty slow given how few people were in the cafe and it even took us quite a while to be greeted and seated. Trouble with the card machine caused a few issues.

The service isn’t the quickest so don’t be in a rush. The coffee is good, dog friendly and they have homemade cake. Price wise it’s okay.
