Nice wee pub. Nice pizza and friendly landlady

The pizzas were pretty good, other food was ok. The reason for 2 stars is because there is not much selection.

Stopped for a drink and ended off been there all night. Really friendly staff that made you feel like they really valued your custom.

Hostess with the mostess the lady who runs the place is warm and genuine and most welcoming Beautiful and charming / food and drink come second place, would highly recommend

We stayed here as it has its own bar and restaurant and not much else around . To be told when we got there that pub and restaurant were not open , this was disappointing as after a long day of being out and about we just wanted food and bed !Overall housekeeping in room was hit and miss . Clean cups but bin not emptied and tea and coffee not replenished . No clean towels.Breakfast between 830-9am .Told where to sit and what to eat !Overall , could have been alot better !!!

Decent food and with Eat In to Help Out was extremely reasonably priced. The staff are mostly friendly but can be a bit abrupt on occasions. We always enjoy a meal here when staying nearby.

Cutting to the chase : the food is great. The service is brilliant and the surrounding interior is at odds with this. See through this and try the food.This is Italian food on offer. Do look at the special boards with local caught fish.The 2 pasta dishes we ordered were cooked to perfection. The penne aribiatta sauce was superb with a little cream to take the heat out of the chilli.The pizza is a light base around 12 inches. A good mix of cheese and sauce.The kids menu is good value from pasta, pizza and chicken nuggets. There is also a kids ice cream in a toy.There are some draft beers Peroni, Pilsner urquell and kozel. Also strongbow on draught.The desert menu is comprehensive with a board to bolster the options. Ice cream, chocolate tart, cheese cake to sorbet.This is a reasonably price location and exceeded expectations on food.

Delicious food, cosy friendly bistro. Dead reasonable. Sunday Dinner 3 courses 8.95. We often have a take away from here, you can order anything from the menu.

Great find on our way back to Lindesfarne. Mediterranean styled pub/restaurant with well made tasty meals and friendly staff. Quirky and different in the age of rrstsurant chains. Loved it.

Fourth visit To the Sambuca Blue Bell. Staff are attentive and friendly. The lunch special is good value for three courses. Brilliant pizza with tasty toppings and light, fluffy base. Absolutely no criticism. My compliments to the chef. I'll be back (again).
